- So... Nena... today I'm not taking a walk somewhere here in the city..... today I'm bringing a revolution to the way I do video's here on TH-cam.... today... I take you on a bus ride (this is the part where you act shocked as if you hadn't read the titles of the video already 👀). Can you feel the creativity radiating off of me? 😏😎
Lol no, but seriously though, today we take a bus ride!
Here we don't have trains (anymore) and instead, we have lots busses driving daily on their specific routes. The busses have names on the front and the rear side of them so you know which bus you're taking.
"Names" of the busses tell you what route they go on. They show that by having initials on them like the bus that I take in this videos with the initials "PK" on it. The "P" let's you know that the bus starts its route in Paramaribo and the "K" let's you know that it takes the "Kwatta" route (this is a main road here").
There are different kinds of busses here like "PL" (Paramaribo Lelydorp), PSB (Paramaribo Santo Boma), but there are also other busses that don't have initials on them, but that instead have a number on them ranging from 1 - 10. They just have a number on them and with these busses you can't "read" their route on them, but fret not, Nena, you can just do what I do! Ask a random bus driver what bus you need to take to get to your destination and they'll happily yell you what bus you need to take.
With that.... rather long intro 👀, here's the video of the PK bus trip.... the ending got kinda ruined, but you'll see why later in the video lol (thank you, mother nature 🙄)

The reason why I actually started uploading these videos was actually to show my Girlfriend (she's the "Nena" I talk about in the description of all of my videos haha) more of Suriname since she's from the U.S., but hearing that others like you enjoy my videos just as much makes it all that much more rewarding to take these videos!
Nena kinda started feeling the digital equivalent of being "car sick" watching this specific video though, but you saying to film the view of the right side of the bus kinda makes me think that that'll help a bit with that since the camera will be a bit farther from the buildings and all, thank you for the idea! I'll be sure to remember this for future bus videos!
The next video that i wanna upload is one of me walking on Keizerstraat, J.A.
