Thats biggest difference compared to last year, she is more relaxed and that makes her very dangerous as that makes her more focused during the game. I think lost at US Open helped her a lot because for a long time she did not have comfort to take break and just practice and focus on improving her game. Her opponents thought that they are catching her up, but i think she was slowly getting tired both physically and mentally (she played the most singles in whole WTA) and that's why it was enough for her to take 3 weeks break after US Open and since China Open she is on fire not losing to anyone. She regained quickly #1 and I'm pretty sure she wants to face Ostapenko and Rybakina as loses motivate her to improve her game.
She is comfortable in her own skin. She is assured. She is confident. U can almost touch her aura. She's the natural leader of the women's game & she has truly earned it. Long may she reign🎉

Sofia defeated Sabalenka twice in a row, she won against Coco in Wimbledon, She is ranked 37th and is a very difficult rival for any top 15 player in the first rounds of a GS. None of Iga's rivals drew such a difficult opponent in the first round as Iga. But it doesn't matter, Iga will win in strait sets.
