Deer's ability to drop at the sound of the bow and move significantly before arrow arrives never ceases to amaze, even at close range.
@ 3:40 😂 that’s what it’s all about!! I love that feeling
Cool video, thanks for sharing! Great shot on the coyote!
You crowded the shoulders a good thing.
Great video Cody! Keep up the hard work buddy!
Thanks for sharing
It wouldn't be a fun challenge if we weren't playing dodge ball. My bows is whisper quiet!
That was a real cow of a buck. Big body what a paint shaker. I don't know how you filmed.
That's a big chaw
Are you filming with the Sony RX10 IV? I was thinking about that one for this year.
Hi I’m looking into buying a Morrison phoenix riser 15in and border hex 6 limbs long and was wondering if this would be a good set up and if a $400/350 price tag on it would be worth it? Also wondering if you use limb blocks when tuning an ilf setup have seen people do with them and without and wanted your opinion
😁👍👍👍
Coyotes hard to get with a bow.
I had a similar shot on a deer last year. He was on camera again a week later and through this year.
He's part wolf.
what is that quiver? can't find it on website
That's a Selway slide-on quiver
Keep practicing, especially under pressure and please give up that filthy habit before you end up with cancer of the jaw
heavy breathing at 12 mins. look at your broadhead , woodsman lot better broadheads out there.
I’m beginning to think that almost all trad bow hunters with all their heavy FOC & heavy arrow talk are either shooting lightweight poundage or just plane full of shit with all this penetration talk. I’ve watched sooooo many Stickbow videos and have yet to see more than a couple pass throughs. It’s hilarious, either they don’t know how to aim low for a dropped animal at the shot, or I don’t know what, but it laughable how many hunts I see with over half the arrow sticking out of the deer as it runs away.
I think in general, particularly for whitetail, these days draw weights are quite low then what they used to be.
@@TheHYENA87 and just for the record, this is a great video & awesome hunt, I’m also a huge The Push fan. In no way am I bashing these guys….at all….I was just speaking in general in regards to alot of TH-cam channels I watch and bowhunting forums/pages.
@@ericlind3569 I hear what your saying Eric, I'm someone who also has never seen a difference in penetration on game from a 400 grain arrow up to a 650 grain, with all different amounts of foc in sprinkled in, ultra foc to almost none....I'm back to a 450 grain arrow being spit out by 51 at my length, no more heavy weight, expensive logs for me.
I’ve never had a pass through with trad bows. Then again I’ve only shot one deer with a recurve, but it damn sure went balls deep and you could hear 3/4 of the rest of the arrow smacking trees and branches hanging out the other side, I believe it’s really where you hit the deer…. I shoot 45# and my arrows are only 480gr 150gr heads.
@@TheHYENA87 I've shot about ten pigs with 550 and another ten with 650 both on 55#. I had 80% full pass throughs on the 650 grains, but mostly just sticking out the other side with the 550. Big difference to me. A lot of other factors too in regards to penetration - like the broadhead.
