Here I am 68 years old and have never heard of Chris before. Don’t watch AGT, just came across him randomly watching u tube video’s. The guy is amazing and I’m not easily impressed. I usually only listen to classic country, but I can tell this guy is really special. Superstar in the making.

His voice is like a warm blanket. It has an extra layer that most singers don't have. Gutteral vibrato i call it. Then he hits these amazing highs. Best singer i've heard in awhile i think. It's perfection.
Beautiful voice yes. But I challenge you to hear one of his songs and write down even 50% of the words in the song if you hadn't known the lyrics before. What happened to artists that know how to clearly pronounce each word. You couldn't do it if you didn't already know the song. You would have to pull up a page of the lyrics.

@@infowazz Thanks for your reply a beautiful voice portraying a great melody is one thing but it's the lyric too that really moves people. if they can't understand the lyric they've lost 50% of the effort that went into the performance. This guy could have it all if he concentrated on that His vocals are amazing.

In Sweden he is a superstar but as soon as he came to America he was back to being an unknown artist and practically had to start all over again. Back to small gigs at bars because Americans are still like “Chris who?”. This is why he deserves a shot at AGT. Even if he doesn’t make it to the finale it will still be a greater accomplishment than winning the entirety of Swedish Idol.
This is the single most underrated singer of all time his voice u can tell has came from years of practice and perfecting

People who are even remotely 'different' are often discarded in favor of someone(s) who fit the current. I stopped watching all the shows in this genre because it seemed like, year after year, the best voices on any of them didn't get voted through. I thought it was all about music. I'm disenchanted. Fairly sure it's about looks and marketability. Sad. Check out Willie Spence from American Idol 2021.
