Her braveness is out of this world, her face resembles a broken, crushed heart..No one will return her lost family, or life at her village, only justice will calm her pain and serve as peace. So many innocent life's destroyed, and one single woman's took on a role to walk this cruel world in search of justice, her voice must be heard!🙏🙏

    • @MSYNGWIE12
      @MSYNGWIE12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Her voice is heard, here, years later, in Canada, where we waste time "complaining about- the weather" - because our lives here in Canada are relatively "safe and comfortable " we too often don't pay any attention to the rest of the human race- I only became aware of this extraordinary young woman, a young woman, made OLD, before her biological years- just my thoughts, as a person with an emotional illness- she speaks, looks, "robotic" - nervous of course, addressing The World, but stage fright isn't the cause- what happened to her and her people- I digressed- bad habit- let me "segue" - I only learned of her, the atrocities committed by BOTH SIDES ( BBC segment prior to this one, in which a survivor of HER peoples, attacked, captured, killed, raped their captives- back and forth the HATE passes, to be corny, plebian, - trite- I can't think of appropriate words, weighty ones...hate, ? back and forth like the pendulum on a tall case clock- and humankind NEVER LEARNS- ) I lost my train of thought- I will buy her memoir, she hopefully has many years more so I don't use "autobiography"- memoir sounds ludicrous given the context- she's been "cursed" and hopefully "blessed" - but the goodwill of much of humanity isn't enough, is it? Sadly, this is "old news" a contradiction in terms- my home TH-cam page, along with music, ghost stories, "how to's" -the algorithm put a young woman before me, she could be her sister, that woman was held captive and raped by Yazidi men, so-called, soldiers- what is there to say? I wish both young women well- where are they nearly a decade later- yes, soon it will be 2023- 2014, the year the Yazidis committed their reprisal, was a very awful year for my family here in "safe" Canada- I wasn't paying attention to the BBC- I can only add my heartfelt goodwill- I'd sincerely like to know where both those women are now as they approach 30- are they happy, married with children, do the write, are they lawyers? DID THEY REALLY HEAL- why on earth I received "news"- for heavens sake- HER LIFE! made trivial by putting an old video up - Oct. 2022- what gives- back to Russell Brand. Namaste ( what year did Bob Dylan win the Nobel prize for literature- ?????) Namaste World

I just saw a documentary where one of her brothers (who had escaped even though he was shot 5 times, including in the back of the head) was watching her speech and crying... He held his phone with a picture of their mother close and cried listening to his sister.
There are also many stories of the surviving women and girls in the documentary, it's hard to believe - I have cried almost all the time while watching and felt dumbstruck to see the horrors humans inflict on each others.

Her face tells her many sad stories of what her & family had to go through. How a girl so young yet had endured too much, not because of her choice, but caused by the circumstances that had once surrounded her. But in the midst of her cries, her inner strength had elevated her, to stand before the world, addressed World Leaders and become a Nobel Peace Price winner.

So sad that this only has 6,300 likes. We have to show solidarity with the minorities of Muslim countries. We must not be complicit through silence.
We must call out the WOKE who are complicit with these crimes not only through their own silence but by silencing the voice of the victims for fear of offending Muslims. The Muslims are the ones who have to hear that it is the Islamist ideology of people like ISIS that is behind these crimes both in Islamic countries and here in the west. We must denounce the actions of people like Helen Fisher Superintendent of the Toronto District School Board who cancelled Nadia's talk to students in Canada.
This kind of silencing of the victims of this ideology is complicity, it is covering up, it is belittling the trauma of victims like Nadia who have escaped and covering up the scale of those who are still victims of groups like ISIS and Al Shebab etc. They are still committing these crimes of genocide. Governments like the government of Nigeria are also complicit with these kinds of genocides because the police and the army and the government are in the hands of Muslims and the attacks on the villages of minorities are not being investigated and no attempt is made to stop it, let alone give back the land taken to the descendants or relatives of those murdered in the attacks.

I wonder if one day I could be the part, even a small part to make this world a better place because there is still too much to be done! I wonder what a place this earth would be of all the evils are vanished, when there would no longer be any fight remaining, where each and every life would be respected!

This young womans message is an eternal wish. Just to voice her message out that people need to hear. Indomitable spirit & courage. Non acceptance of injustice. Oh yes. I support that cause eternally too. I think it is difficult to accept sometimes we are all part of humanity. What happened to her community, could really be anywhere. Just different players. Good for her, not backing off to the evil ones actions. So sad the plight of refugees & the crisis, even now.

I've known one Yazidi for a long time, and I think their Yazidi religion/culture is very much similar to Hinduism, India should help these Yazidis and settle them in India. 🙏
    Similarities in a sense:
    1. Yazidis worship God 'Melek Tawwus' (In Hinduism known as 'Kartikeya', Peacock symbols both have)
    2. April 14 Yazidi New Year (Hindu New Year also)
    3. They made a mouth sound in their celebration (In Hinduism known as 'Ululudhvani, Ululation')
    4. Yazidis have a symbol similar to Bindi or Tilak during temple prayer, very similar to Hindu forehead custom.
    5. Does fire ritual (Very common in Hinduism and core of Zoroastrianism)
    6. Yazidis do not circumcise, a very rare thing in the Arab culture (Hindus also do not circumcise).
    7. Prays with folded hands (Just like the Hindus).
    8. Believe in a recurring birth and death cycle (Dharmic philosophy of 'punar janam' or reincarnation)
    9. The oil lamps called 'Sanjakas' that the Yezidis use are very similar to 'Arti' used in the Hindu culture for worship.
    10. The Yazidi temple shrines or 'Lalish' are of pyramid structure, which are quite similar to Hindu Temple architecture.
    11. Yazidis pray at sun rise and sun set, just like Hindus. Both face the rising or setting sun when praying to sun.
And these are just a few similarities, I'm pretty sure there are many more, we just need to re-establish the broken links, I believe Yazidis were once linked with Hindus of the Indian peninsula but got separated because of natural calamities and Islamic Invasions and Influence.
