- The first instalment of our Boar Hunting Trip in Italy.
Jon and Sasha depart for their 3 day trip to Castello del Terriccio in pursuit of Italian Wild Boar. Upon arriving at the stunning shoot lodge, and an evening sampling delicious Tuscan cuisine, it’s game on and out on their first outing with their guide ‘Spartaco’

Squeeze the trigger, pulling a rifle is when you come off target from fear of the report and recoil. Good video, beautiful views and the accommodation and food look great.

The summary will probably be at the end of Part 3 - now we have had a few months to mull over the memories
Oh this is on a preserve? It seems like all the hunting grounds in Northern Italy are staked out already. Are there no wild boars in open public forests?
Not a preserve, and plenty of boar about the place

Hard to imagine fishing for anything else here sometimes.

@@tgsoutdoors not in Kentucky. You've got bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill, and some rare stocked trout. Got to make a trip for the others. Bass is king throughout here, though.

Looks like a fun trip. Bit of roughing it, eh? But might I suggest you give Japanese style Tenkara fly fishing a try.

Black Bass/Large Mouth are really nice white meat fish, good to eat out of cool water can get wormy in hot weather. I have eaten many over the years, well worth a try.

@@tgsoutdoors You will be able to hunt Wild Hogs only. And is often driven hunts.
Large mouth bass are delicious, but those were a bit small to eat.
Best go back when they are grown up!
