I learned this song in 1974 in music class! I am 58 yrs old, and have sang it ever since. I cried hearing this wonderfully talented group of children doing it, just as my music class did it in 1974!! I thought it was the neatest two songs put together and it stuck with me for all these years. Thank you so much for putting this on TH-cam. Its the first time ive heard it since Ive been in elementary school many many years ago. My music teacher's name was Mrs.Kelzenberg,bless her heart!
My grandmother (passed in 1991) and mother (now 96) and I used to sing this so was taking a sentimental journey googling it... this is such a fabulous performance I cried. You'd think I had a grandkid in it LOL!

It's so wonderful to hear these children sing this old time favorite. They did an EXCELLENT job and so did the conductor!! An A PLUS to all the kids.
