My younger cousin wanted to buy a booster box, not knowing what it would become, we chose twilight masquerade. 1 month later, everyone was scrambling to buy it. Now him, his twin, and I open booster boxes together. Therefore I would also like to mention Stellar Crown, as we pulled many hits from that box.
100% agree with the Paldean Fates points. It reminds me a lot of how it felt to open Crown Zenith. Lots of hits. Maybe not worth much, but still fun. Paldean Fates is my guilty pleasure set. If I find it for a good deal, I always buy it.
I feel like 151 pull rate has changed. When it first came out I was getting so many pulls. Opened recently a bunch with the new releases and it’s definitely less than before.
My best pulls are from trusted hobby shops that sell packs from open booster boxes vs. the single pack blisters from big box retail. Feels like based on booster boxes having the most consistent pull rates, you might improve your odds of getting a nice hit.
151 is probably my favorite to open but PF is super fun. I’m not opening any SS. At least for 3-4 months and maybe not ever. I’d mention that Crown Zenith is hard for any set to beat as far as “fun to open” goes.

Agree with this, 151 and paldean though can't be split for me. I would prefer ripping 151 as it takes me back to my childhood. Although I've been ripping paldean with my little one as being 4 it's great being able to share the experience of pulling hits with her.
Couldn’t agree more. Paldean fates is the sleeper in the current time frame. I just bought more paldean fates to store away a month ago right before it goes up on price, stock up!

Honestly my hot take of fun sets to open is SV Base. Yeah the cards don't hold much value, but booster packs are SO cheap, and there's so much good artwork. Slowpoke and Drowzee for the Gen 1 fans (plus wiglett and Toedscool), the Gardevoir line, the Dondozo is stunning, lots of cute pokemon like the Fidough, Skwovet, Greavard, the sleeping Pawmot... the Koraidon/Miradon SIRs are wild too. You've got those early SV pull rates making hitting an SIR really easy too.
You’re so right. I personally enjoy it the most to open many packs while im with my friends. I am from Europe and recently i bought Shrouded Fable for 2,37€ per Pack which is extremely cheap and I had a blast. I packed the IR Persian and the IR Dusknoir and I was extremely happy. My Eyes are set on Sets like Paradoxrift and Temporal Forces because they have very nice cards and the booster boxes currently go for 100€ if you shop right. In a online store I also saw a booster box from Twilight Masquerade for 110€ which might be interesting as well but I am waiting for Black Week and Black Friday Sales before i decide.

Picked up a few of the banter 4 packs they have going at big w at the moment and pulled the Lugia V alt art out of a silver tempest, let it roll a few days later, picked up 4 surging sparks boosters and pulled the latias ex - have used up my luck for a while! good fun just picking some up for a bit of a rip, still trying to master paldea evolved too… so hard to resist the chance of thr magikarp

Well, Gladiator (2000), being my favourite movie ever, I thought part 2 wasn't too bad. Maybe because I was comparing to it the original, but yeh just saiyan lol. I give Gladiator 2 a 7/10. I opened a case of Paldean Fates ETBs today and it was really fun I must say. The set has pretty decent quality control too. Anyways great video as usual man.👍
Wow paldean fates really started shooting upwards when I wasn't looking. Well dang I didn't buy a damn thing. I just didn't think it would do well, the only card worth a damn in that set is bubble mew and to a much lesser extent the charizard. Any any rate it's in my rear view mirror, I'm focused entirely on surging sparks and prismatic evos 😃
All I can say is don't waste your money searching for the surging sparks pikachu. I opened two booster boxes not one. And it made me sour enough I officially quit buying pokemon for a while. No more gamba for this fella. I'll buy actual stuff not chase a 1/9,000 Pack change.
As a classical historian myself who loved Gladiator I simply cannot recommend the sequel. It totally disregarded actual history whereas the original may have embellished it but kept the true spirit of history.

I still haven't recovered from the disappointment of "Exodus: Gods and Kings". 😂 I'm not even religious but that film looked amazing in the trailers so I watched it and it was so bad. 😂 Might be time to give old Ridley another go.

Same here. At the start every 4th - 5th back I was hitting something decent now you buy 10 packs and get nothing.

Other way around for me. Blisters bring the heat dude. Hits are limited from open booeter boxes...

i think the original Gladiator was better but theres definitely nostalgia points on that ranking! Gladiator 2 was great!
My best pulls usually come from 3 pack blisters, and the set that has consistently given me good pulls is Crown Zenith.
