The craftsman has more airflow and was cheaper. I am using this to suck up yard garbage sand and bird seed. So a more expensive DeWalt wasn't worth it to me.

Yes, indeed. I have the 16 gallon craftsman..it's super powerful. I also have the 9 gallon dewalt. I use it for detailing and cleaning my garage.
