I’m looking forward to the area 300 addition. I have 2 area 300 as Stereo and love it. Tempted to get 2 era 100 as rears with a beam 2 and sub mini. I’m still quite happy and very damn satisfied with what I have but still curious about the what the next level could be.

I just ordered the Beam 2 + sub mini + ERA 100's so you recommend this set up ? my room is only 12x14 feet with 7.5 foot ceilings will this set up be enough or should i go with the ARC ULTRA I watch alot of sports and news and movies thx TV is 85 inches and i sit about 6-8 feet away cheers from Canada
Thanks for watching, did you order it straight from Sonos? I would say that the beam 2 may be a little to weak for that kind of space. But you should absolutely try it to see how it sounds in that room. I gave my setup to my parents and they love beam 2+sub mini. They have a large livingroom like yours aswell and they love it. I think Arc ultra might be a better choice but you have 60 days return from Sonos. Try the setup out see how you feel about it

Would be great if they would use the look of the mini for the larger sub gen (4). I think the current Gen 3 is little dated in terms of it's looks. I'm still in doubt for Sonos or Sennheiser, Sennheiser supports DTS-X and has more HDMI ports but has no rear speakers as of yet. Did you do a test already with physical media ? I know Sonos does not support DTS-X so it should sound less impressive.

They have had the same look for the sub gen for the past 3 gens so maybe in the next one we will see a totally different look on it. like you said i also like the look of the sub mini so maybe we will see something like that in the future. Yes i use apple tv in all my videos threw hdmi. yeah its a shame Sonos doesnt include DTS-X in their speakers.
@@remco3819 Yeah i saw that today aswell. Arc gen 2 and a sub gen 4 maybe in 2024 that is going to be awesome. Arc gen 1 is already amazing so lets see what gen 2 brings 😂
