@@aarona5839 My favorites are BoxDog, KongBox, regular Barkbox but the value for Barkbox isn't there. It is more for the monthly themes and the surprise of what the theme might be.
AGeekyGuy is it depending on where you live? because i pay $25 for 6 months, which is a good deal but i agree that if you get 1 month you are not getting a good deal
Lil AA from what I have seen over the years. Most monthly subscriptions get cheaper the longer your subscription plan so the best value is a one year subscription. Not everyone can afford to do a full year or do not have a need for that many toys and treats. I wanted to show the difference in value based on one month; however, the value differences are marginally different for an entire year but value bs cost doesn’t change much since they all get cheaper by about the same amount the longer the subscription length is that you choose.
Thank you. I realized in some of my past videos I didn't get into all the details and show what you get and it's value vs what you pay. I am glad I can help others and let them decide what they want.
@@Samantha-sk5uz Same. My dog loves his BarkBox and looks forward to it every month. I pay around $27 for it and it’s well worth it as he isn’t a big chewer. His toys have lasted him for months.
I found this really helpful. We have a 6 month old Cane Corso, and I'm just learning about these boxes you can order. So for our guy, I'd say Kong or the bully box makes more sense. I loved the kong tho for the simple fact that it's work for food toys , and play n activity rather than JUST. Chew. The Frisby is ausome in my opinion as he'd be able to chew on it aswell and be active and play. And then getting a regular type Kong . It's like a two in one kinda deal. The bully box had really durable toys which I also like. My question is, would it really be good to get past 6 months each. Me , I'd wish I had the option to do 3 months and try another brand for 3 months. See what fits best. Also I'd be worried with kong after a few months your basicly have every type of kong that you'd need. And then maybe it would be time to switch. 🤷 I duno. Something to think about for sure.
I’ve been with bullymake for nearly two months now, and thus far my pupper has really enjoyed everything in the box. I have a pitbull/blue heeler mix who destroys absolutely everything I get her from the store. I was basically wasting money on stuff she would shred up in days. An annoyance AND a safety issue. So glad I found bullymake. Nothing has been shredded yet 🤞
@@erinjoy5625 My Malinois are massive chewers and they have not killed the KONG products yet. I had a good friend send me a few to test out many months ago -- they are still going strong!
I order my first barkbox and it came completely damaged, the box was so damaged and it was open also.... my girlfriend and I arent letting our dog play with it at all and I wrote to the company and all they said was we could get u a refund or an extra month for free.... like pretty bad for first time customers, about to cancel them
@@kamilzajkowski9690 well in all fairness a refund or free box is definitely what you would expect really , I mean, they aren't going to give you even MORE Then what you already paid. Wouldn't make good for $$, however it's not a good look that happened period!! It's something for others to consider for sure.. I'd just get my refund, cut my loss and try another company.
I get the BarkBox monthly subscription and for me the value is there. I get “toys only” and I get the extra toy added. It costs me 19.99/month plus $9, so for 28.99 I get 4 M/L super chewer toys. I usually get a good variety of plush and rubber toys. My dogs favorite are the layered toys that I don’t see too many other companies doing. The plush toys have been the only brand that last! They are also good on their word with toy satisfaction. I had a “small toy” in one of my boxes that I felt wasn’t safe for my M/L dog. I chatted with customer service right on the app and they had a replacement toy sent out to me the next day and it was at my door within a week with no extra cost or need to return the unused item.
My barkbox extra toy is only an extra $6 with a total of $32 shipping included....I also have 2 full grown huskies that are intense chewers and the plushies last a long time they love the durability and quality and I love the detail and special care they put in each box you can even special request for them to be made extra durable for the plushies and they replace any that your dog does not like or destroys to easily with your choice of replacement (and ive never needed a replacement) ...this video doesint show the over all quality of barkbox and what they fully offer per your individual dogs subscription (just an observation no judgment though ima stick with barkbox )
Based on your reviews, I'm feeling Kong - but to be fair, the one month cost without the subscription is (at least as of today) $39.95 not $29.95 (that's the cost if you subscribe for 12 months) - I only point that out because I think with the other companies, you were using their one month non subscription box. But I do think Kong is a better product - thanks for showing off the differences in each box! :)
I love the bullymake and i select toys only, no treats. there is an option for an extra toy. You can select the type of toys you get in the box, which is awesome! My guys are powerful, one is obsessed with nylon toys.. and let's admit it they are sooo creative and cute! 4 toys for like 30$ HECK YEAH! Nylon toys are super pricy in my area. Rubber are also a hit in my home. so Bullymake wins with my bullies.
I'm a new bully owner due to a friend getting in over his head with him and he only came with one rope toy. I bought him an extra rope toy and a kettle bell from the dollarstore cause it looked tough and I just needed some quick toys to tide him over. Pffft didn't last two minutes. I just moved and as soon as I get the move costs covered I'm getting him a pile of chewing toys. Also asked friends for a bullymake box for Christmas. I'd love suggestions on different things to buy him to chew as he is definitely a power chewer and 3 years old. I love the big lug.
I just ordered the super chewer. My dogs are big chewers and after research and looking at the quality of treats, Id say BARK company is the best so far.
The BarkBox Super Chewer isn't bad and the themes are always entertaining but the toys are hit and miss. Some of the toys I have received over the years of Super Chewer were extremely dangerous for a tough chewer. IE, too soft a rubber that could be a choking hazard.
@@AGeekyGuy yes I understand. They actually messaged me and asked which I didn’t like and they are sending new ones for free and changed the box setting
I think they are all overcharging. I am looking for a box that has toys. I dont feed my dog store bought treats because although they are made in the U.S. the ingredients are bought from other countries and im not giving my dogs treats from China. Also vinyl toys have been known to grow mold in them so where can I get a box with toys?
IDK, from what I have been told is all their treats are made 100% in the USA with 100% USA ingredients. Many of these companies you can request or they have options for toys only. You might need to message them or call their customer service if not listed on their website.
I really thought there would be more in those boxes. I think theyre all a little pricey especially ghe soft toys. If theyre gonna be ripped apart as soon as they arrive I wont be paying 10 bucks for stuffing lol. Im cheap, I know...
KongBox doesn't even exist anymore from what I can tell and I was about to order a BarkBox until this video and we're going to try BoxDog instead. Thanks for the review/ honest opinion! Also your boxdog link is not working
I tried that heavy chewer and my dog destroyed the toys in a day. He literally is a destructive dog, this regular toys would never last . It was fun for a month but the cost was insane for a dog the shreds his stuff in five minutes. Lol some didn't even last dive minutes
A lot of these box things aren't really worth it, especially for dogs with food allergies. I've done the "toys only" option before on some different sites too, but 3-4 x-small/small toys for 50 bucks (considering my dog is 10 pounds)... We have a better time letting him pick out his own toys at the pet stores.
On the bark box you fill out the profile for your dog. You can list all of your dogs allergies so that they will avoid putting those treats in the box :-)
Boxdog wasn't worth it, it seems tough but my dog got it chew up within 10 minutes... Plus they delivered every 3 months lol your dog will be bored for the whole 3 months awaiting for next box to arrive...
Which box is your favorite and why?
barkbox its the best valuable, themed and the treats are very good. even zak george eats the treats to prove they are healthy
but for 1 month subscription kongbox is the winner

My BarkBox sub is $25 monthly for two toys, two bags of treats and one chew. The toys are awesome. The treats are healthy. I’ll stick with BB.
I'd argue that value is contingent on your dog's satisfaction with the box so i get the Barkbox for my dog
