The times I have gotten the “oh wow this is really good coffee” is when my coffee tastes mostly of coffee but has those blips, those hints of fruits/chocolate/caramel. So usually I roast Brazilian, Sumatran or Ethiopian . Make sure the green is really clean and take it into the chocolate/roast area. Cheers

Yes! Those are the most clever coffees to offer. They feel familiar yet add enough interest to get people thinking. That's excellent!

I had the experience over the summer where I gave someone a free bag of Ethiopian Natural and they were thrown off by the blueberry notes. The response was “I like just regular coffee not a bunch of fruit” I was in utter shock because I assumed everyone loves E Nat their first time. I will use some of the tips you all shared for the next go round. This was a great episode as always fellas.

Yeah the Ethiopian Naturals are hard. It's either they really fall in love or they have that response. Haha it's hard to tell too. The natural for us played a huge part In our journeys though
