Not Really A Spoiler Alert: Invincible has a team up with Spider-Man and they fight Doc Ock, it's canon in the Marvel 616 but that definitely won't be happening on the tv series. It would be cool though. If you get your hands on the comic keep it in good condition, might be worth something one day.
Its funny cause the OG Guardians are based off of DC/Justice League. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Martian Man Hunter, etc. And the new team are Marvel. Iron Man, Hulk, Gambit, Scarlet Witch, etc.

And let's talk about last episode, because the reason for Mark and Amber's calling each other is because Amber ordered the bully to give Mark her phone number, and blackmailed and threatened to humiliate him if he didn't do so. And the episode treats this like it's meant to be empowering and comedic, but when you look at it, there's nothing really empowering or funny about threatening to blackmail someone, in fact: IT'S MANIPULATIVE. Also, if Amber had a crush on Mark, WHY didn't she just approach him and tell him herself, but chose to threaten someone into doing so? That's just messed up. And if your going to say that, "In defense, the bully hurt Mark, so Amber was just putting him in his place.", that's stupid, because as someone who doesn't approve of bullies, that doesn't mean you spent all your time just putting them through such cruelty just for your own personal gain. You're basically no better than they are.
This is a lot of words just to let everyone know women make you feel even weaker. Jesus, mate. She's a teenager and teenagers are idiots. I'm sure you can relate.
This series would be so much better if they cut out Amber. She slowly but surely becomes an annoyance in the show. I started skipping all her scenes later on and I don't regret it.

The thing that feels most contrive by the writers is how her and Mark get into a relationship. In Episode 2, she literally only started "liking Mark", because she just saw Mark and Eve together. And then she goes all around school asking some folks if Mark and Eve are a couple. I mean seriously, WHY does Amber feel the need to pry into their business? And if she was really wanting to know, she could have just asked Mark herself. Considering how assertive and tough she shows to be, asking Mark a simple question shouldn't be a problem (Especially considering she literally blackmailed a bully into doing that for her. Like WTF?). But no, the episode basically shows that she chose to do all this because she was basically jealous of Mark and Eve together.

As a comic reader, I think you'll understand later on why everything that happens in Season 1, even the stuff that feels like filler, is important. Some things take a long time to pay off but they come back in huge ways. The main arch of the season isn't just Mark vs. Nolan, it's about Mark's growth into a hero and the cost of his actions on his family and friends. And his friends are also important, because Invincible (the comic) is amazing at making each character feel like they are the main character of their own show rather than everyone revolving around Invincible. There will be consequences and aftermath to everything as the show goes on. Some storylines will intersect in unexpected ways.

I stumbled upon Invincible while bored and scrolling on holiday, and the show blew me away. I binged the whole lot in a couple of days.
Voice acting is at 1000000000000000% its ridiculous. J.k Simmons does so good and also peep the blood splatter increasing in the title panel
