More than twice, actually. Hugo's play "Angelo, tyran de Padoue", on which these two operas are based, was also used as inspiration for Gomes' "Fosca", Cui's "Angelo", Catalani's "Dejanice" and Bruneau's "Angelo, tyran de Padoue" :)

Bianca's aria is one of Baltsa's best pieces. I always look forward to it in her recitals!
