so the tower has 0 ground turrets making it very easy to racer run, the wall does not have enough tek turrets, tek turrets kill people off stegos meaning they are much much much needed as well as there are no fence supports to stop snow owl diving at all

Nice one your last oil cave was a bit bad let’s be honest but apart from the tower on here you nailed it nice job about the tower i would have done 10 pillars up then hatch frames then another 10 and hatch frames and vault drop the corners instead of pillar turrets although looking at the wall now it could have been about 3-4 more foundations sooner so some turrets shoot them in the entrances and with wall tek heavy with a little space to breath so they can’t be los also a little wall on a cliff plat on the left of the entrance when you walk in
if the tips touch, the turrets will only fire at what's directly in front of them btw. Got your turrets a bit too close together. Also the main way people raid that cave is snow owls, if they target the top of your wall like they should, they'll end up in your "sniper spot"

I would suggest doing that and putting a bunch of mosas outside
Tip for rookies. When vault dropping don’t do it on top of a foundation as all the raiders have to do is destroy the foundation and all the vaults will fall into each other

I would have loved to see some species x plants as they form a deadly combination with turrets
The problem with the plants is that they count as turrets as well so you'll reach your turret maximum much faster if you add plants. Rather fill it up with heavies or teks as they do very much dmg (ofc in the early game it's good to have plants for the vision cancel and the slow but later it's just not worth it anymore 'cause of the turret maximum)
@@florix1646 huh never thought of it that way. My thinking was that alot of soakers usually sponge bullets by retreating after reaching low hp and healing with cakes or snow owl, if there's an element that slows them down it would be much more trickier to soak efficiently so it might also act as a deterrent
@@mobo8933 I mean you're right, in the earlygame it gets much harder to raid a base with plants if you have just a few dinos to soak but it's also very easy to destroy them by using flame arrows. But yeah in the early it's really worth it, in late they don't really make a difference

That wall can munch at 50k dmg per hit. Even with a nice saddle, I can't see how a PT can tank to get close enough for the c spin.

@@jacobcanady2603 it's not hard to farm tho, an already based tribe can farm this in a week, the only hard part is getting an opened oil cave and not getting wiped out of it as soon as you build it

There not snapped he left a hole in the floor n placed a dedi box on top and built 1 down and snapped the dedi boxes together over the floor

Vault dropping with cave damage is useless and a huge waste of your resources, highly recommend against it.

All you have to do is lower them into the foundation and then extend the foundations out as much as you want and it will make it so ceilings done need pillar support
