It really bugs me that in the Eng. version that they wrote Jamil's 'Snake Whisper' into 'Snake Charmer'. There are few English words in the entire game but 'Snake Whisper' was one of them and they still messed it up.
All the Unique Magics are basically English though They renamed Trey from Doodle Suite to Paint the Roses which is the kanji version of it but its not the chant

The word "Paint the Roses" is the English for the katakana. The translator have the freedom to choose either word to translate. Sometimes they also went the route of making a word play just for the English word, like Deuce's UM. Also, I heard that Trey's VA unable to say Paint the Roses, that's why they change it to Doodle Suit but keep the UM's other name in that katakana thingy. P.S: that person in twitter I mention often post review and thoughts about the JP to EN translation and like to post translation of the official fan book of twst. They're really informative and tell you a lot on what may go inside the translator's head when they translate the game.
