I was the camera operator for the bottom (lead follow cam). All I know was this made me nausous, I couldnt look back to see what happened to the other horses/drivers until after the race. Glad everyone was (for the most part) okay.
What a poor way for babies to experience their first start...poor horses. Poor drivers too, a few of them hit the track. And then luc broke a bone in his left wrist, putting him out of the meadowlands pace elims tonight.
Looks like it all happened so fast I don't see how any of those driver's could have reacted. Horse went down suddenly and the pack was bunched right behind them. Can only hope everyone's ok (both horses & drivers).
give me a break how the fuck is saftic supposed to avoid running him over in the position he is in! no possible way to avoid that im sorry. Gilchrist will be the one suspended for this im hearing.
