@@The-Walkingjourney i was born in Leicester and grew up there. On a visit back I was appalled at the city centre and what it has become. It was a thriving bustling city, very well off and now it looks shocking. Nothing left. Full of immigrants who speak their own languages and very few locals. My family live outside the city centre. I have friends who havent been near the city in years. Such a shame for a once beautiful place
I was really surprised to at first how this city is packed with everything you need in a big city, have you seen it's mall tour you should! I really loved it's vibe great city 🤍
It's a horrific place to live. Back in the 50s and 60s it was a lovely place to live, very elegant. Then the inevitable happened and that was the end!!🙏🏻🙏🏻😀😀
your videos are so interesting. But you are not using the required keywords or thumbnail, that's why your SEO score is 0. If you agree I can make thumbnails for you. if you are interested ,i can do SEO for your videos
I knew this place many years ago. It was just about 100% white with some Europeans, mainly Poles and Ukrainians from World War 2 who integrated so well you wouldn't know unless they told you. Now this place is unrecognisable in every way. The population has completely changed, the industrial base has been destroyed... if it wasn't for the expanded polytechnic (called De Montfort University) and the 'proper' Leicester University there wouldn't be anything worthwhile left.
As an old bloke It's nice to see familiar faces and have a beer in the afternoon But it is run down and turning slowly into a set on Blade Runner. Getting work has become increasingly difficult and the racial diversity has become distinctly divided over parts of city. Indians one side Polish and Romanians British and Black people peppered in-between. Few British run shops

Leicester n'est pas la ville la plus intéressante de Grande-Bretagne ! Il n’y a pas de monuments célèbres et plus de la moitié de ses habitants vivent en dessous du seuil de pauvreté.
What a load of crap. I've lived here since 2001 and most people (white or otherwise) are not living below the poverty line! There is also plenty of historic places to visit and also thr home of the national space centre.
Thats why i left about forty years ago because i felt like a stranger in the city i was born in.
On my visit to Leicester I walked for over 15 mins and never heard english spoken
What 😅😅😅‼️

Why are Hari Krishna Hindus allowed to chant at the clock tower?
I've seen many in London chanting and dancing on streets!

I think you need to do your homework before filming. All interesting places missed, such a shame
