Shadow Orb is like Vorpal Orb in Dynasty Warriors Online version. Basically this orb is purely intended for Pro players. It drains Both of "You" and your "Enemies" Musou bar as if it's never filled. Which is very useful in Chaos difficulty, where enemies are aggressive and can trigger Musou attack whenever they want. Using this Orb, it will prevent them doing Musou attack forever
I wouldn't say it would be intended for "pro players". It's utilization is more fitted for characters that would benefit the most from it. For example: Wei Yan or Lu Bu. Its sole purpose is to abuse a character's charge string to do a good amount of damage but on Chaos, the damage is less than stellar and most players are forced to lean more towards the more meta chaos build: Ice+Musou which becomes even more meta when you add the XL expansion. And the Shadow Orb does not drain an enemy's musou. Both when I use it and when it's used on me, it's never drained the target's musou. It probably does that on DWO, but not in base 5 or the XL expansion. It didn't even do that in DW4. It only drains the user's musou based on the damage that is dealt and the amount of targets that are hit.
Not "will". It CAN defeat enemies in one blow. Which means that it's not always guaranteed and usually deals OHKO hits on privates. It's not entirely useless, but compared to its previous and even more modern incarnations, it's not the best. The Shadow orb works best on characters that have abusable charge attacks and can fill their musou well like Wei Yan. He flourishes with a Shadow Orb and of course, so does Lu Bu. Just using it on any character hoping for big damage will make this orb seem rather useless. But on the right character, it can do some significant damage.
@@JustNoca Thanks now thats clear. Can you do more about range increase item? Because Lu bu has longest range by his weapon but its less damage and no hit on closest to his body. I thought this item would help him hit closest enemy.
