Ive been intimidated to try a hst until I watched this tutorial. Very clear instructions! I completed my very first hat by following along with you. It looks so good! Thsnk you.
Thank you soooooooo much! This is the first hat tutorial that came out right because of your great instructions. I made your chicken pot holder to, can’t wait to send to my sister who loves chickens. And to make more from your videos. Love it!
This is one of my favorite hats to make. I’ve been making it every year since you posted this tutorial. It’s super easy and so cute! Try out her Jazzy pink hat. It’s my other go to for a woman’s hat. Thank you Crystal for your awesome tutorials!
Just made this hat. I used Caron Cakes and colour controlled. I was worried that the hat was too big but it sits in a very stylish way and looks beautiful with the bobble cowl I made with the same yarn. Thanks!
I was iffy on this. Mainly because I'm iffy on hats in general. And hats I've made in the past never seem to fit people right. My own head is unusually small. But the more I saw it the more I liked it. I had been buying that Hygge yarn to stock it away in case I wanted to make a huge soft blankie. Every time I get coupons I grab some. So I decided to use one finally on this hat in the color pearl and I had bought a x large furry pom awhile back in case I wanted to make a hat. Crystal, it turned out beautiful. I wish I could post a picture. I used a smaller hook even with the size 5 Hygge yarn and only had to modify it just a bit to be perfect for my head because I knew as soon as I saw the Hyggge making that first Bobble stitch that I was keeping it! Lol. Thank you so much Crystal for sharing your art. I may make a few now. Everyone loves this one and I might even buy those strips of faux fur and make my own large Poms. I don't know how to sell them or even what I would charge, but I'll send you money if I decide to. So far I just give gifts. ❤💙💜
Hi Crystal I am not very good at crocheting I have only been crocheting for about a year or so but I feel I can give this a try thank you for all the hard work you do & look forward to more tutorials from you
Crystal,I'm like you, I love hats too, and you sure make one's that I have been crocheting and I have a small head, so I have to not use as many rows and they came out so cute.Thank you so much.Jeri
Made one of these in smaller size for my 4 yr old great granddaughter. Her mommy loved it so much she asked for one but messy bun if possible. I'm going to give it a try.
Hi Crystal I saw another video you did with the bobble stitch and i knew I has to try it. This hat was great fun to make and it was the first hat other than an ornament I've ever made. My 8 year old confiscated it. Not that she has much use for a hat in Florida lol
I love this pattern and just finished making it using Sweet Roll color Raspberry swirl and a I hook. I love how it came out. Thank you Crystal for another great pattern.
This is a great pattern Crystal! After you finished the first bobble round it looked like a real cool coaster! Two in one, lol! I will definitely make this! Thanks for sharing and for your clear concise instruction!
Hi Crystal!! Making this as we speak for a coworkers little girl, she is 8. I am going to make it 8" in length from top to bottom for her. I love this pattern and I'm actually using scrap yarn in pinks, purples, light blues and dark purples for her. I am going to give her a pom pom with all the colors and some white thrown in. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! ♥ ♥ ♥
Just made this hat. I'm going to make a set of hat and gloves for each of my five sisters for Christmas. They'll all get a different style from your patterns. Thanks so much!
I just followed your directions and made this hat for my mom. I used Red Heart Gemstone, color "Fire Agate". I added one more row of bobbles , plus the 2 rows of double crochet and finished with the single crochet row. I needed it to be longer. Gave it to my mom and she loved it. Thanks for the great video.
I have 11 grands that I am making beanies for. I want all of them to be a little different. Three of grandchildren are girls. This will be how I make at least one of them. Thank you so much. 💖
I’m so thrilled you don’t use the magic circle. I can’t get the hang of it and so tired of trying. Ty for another great tutorial. Wish I had more yarn!
Susan Lentz, Just give it a go 🙂 if you follow along with Crystal, you can surprise yourself with the end result 😉 All the necessary information is included and she shows what to do every step of the way 👌 Be brave, just DO IT❣👌🌏🌻
Really cute hat. I just got my Colorscape yarn today, I like how it works up and it feels really nice. I'm a few rows in on my hat and this is a fun pattern, Thank you, Crystal! ☺
I’m about 5 rows in for this hat. Using Premier Puzzle color Cat’s Cradle so it will match a cocoon sweater for one of my daughters. Since there’s no way to know where the different colors will show up, it feels like a big gamble. Sure hope it turns out fairly even🙏🏻🙏🏻 the design alone will make it pretty, though ❤️👍🏻
Love this hat! I’m going to make this for the #hatnothate campaign. And thank you again for subscribing to my channel. I am still in shock about it. Lol
I made this hat for my 8 yr old granddaughter using Red heart Arin yarn. I sized it down by using a smaller hook and adding more decreases the sc row at the end. Fits perfectly and a great use of this colorful yarn. I also made a scarf which actually gave more Arin effect.
Thanks for the tut, Crystal, making up some of your hat patterns to give to homeless people here in Australia to help keep them warm. ❤️
