Found you about a week ago, and I usually don't like commenting but I appreciate your content very much. Thank you so much, I am learning a fun approach to learn art a lot from this channel.
Your videos are so beautifully made. I'm trying to learn illustration on my own and your videos are an amazing amazing resource. Thankyou so much for all the effort you put into them! I hope you blow up and get millions of subscribers, you deserve it!
its great tutorials, do you sometimes get overwhealmed by so many methods? like me personally i tend to gravitate more towards hampton, but i kinda dont use it that much i think, not sure.
I’m a big fan of your work after learning about CORE. I’ve been struggling with drawing Usturs strangely enough. The mechanical features don’t look right. For robot feature do you use the Loomis method with cubes instead of slices of a sphere? Would love to see you in action with less organic characters.
Hey Thor! Thanks, I've watched some of your videos too! I'll try do some videos talking about this issue. It's a combination of learning anatomy and organic shapes... but also understanding the principals of drawing hard surface objects like cars or buildings. The sort of drawing that happens in industrial design. But I also ended up simplifying the Ustur designs a lot! So many things going on at once.
You're an amazing teacher Tim! Love the work you're doing at Star Atlas. Can't wait to read more! Keep it up!
Thanks Siggy!
Your videos have been, by far, the most helpful to me as a beginning artist. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with us!
Thanks! That's great to hear!

You can talk about Loomis, but those eyeballs are pure Winsor McCay
Ayo first comment! Love your work, continue the free art advice!

Great question. I too would love to see how the steps for different types of characters vary. Thor I can't wait to see the Ustur you create 😉
