- Just in time for April Fools!! I found this idea online, and instead of buying it I figured I'd try this out for my 1st polymer clay project! These are pretty easy to make and you can make your bubble gum magnets personalized to look like something you actually chewed!!

So my friends and I (and most people I know) do the le poisson d'avril where you take pictures of fish and tape them onto the back of people and say "le poisson d'avril" until they notice. It is a lot of fun!
Love it! The project is super fun and a great April Fools Prank object. (On a side note, don't use clear coat nail polish on polymer clay.... it will become a sticky gooey mess over time because the chemicals in the nail polish will eat at the polymer clay. Then again if you're going for realistic gum... maybe sticky is good?!! ) LOL

Last year I pranked my mom with the classic "dollar on a fishline" prank, and then followed up by pranking my sister by switching the bags in the cereal boxes around. 😂😂

at science camp in the 6th grade, our cabin had a bathroom door that sometimes wouldn't lock completely. so, being the ruthless preteens we were, me and some friends took my cabin mates' clothes while he was showering and told them they were on his bed. The poor guy ran out holding his junk snagged his clothes and went back in to change.
I remember this one time I put blue food coloring in the milk carton the night before April fools so when my family woke up on April Fools morning to have breakfast, the milk they poured over their cereal was blue!!!

Last year, one of my friends was supposed to move in may, but on april fools, she told me she was moving early. I forgot it was april fools and actually believed her!
April fools day is the time of year when you prank people, one time put Vaseline on the bottom of door knobs for my friends.
One time this year I made goo with your tutorial. I decided to prank my friend by putting the goo on the top of her locker. Without realizing that it would fall, I set it up. My friend put her backpack in and didn't notice. She noticed after school because it got all over her backpack and it was stuck. Long story short, she wasn't very happy about that.
one time I did that prank to my friend were you put a ketchup packet at the end of their straw,except I accidently used hot saue and didn't realise so I got in trouble since her mouth burned .

One time, I had this little worm thing (purple, fuzzy) and it had a semi- invisible string attached, and I said to my dad, " do you want to hold my pet?"
He said ok ,then I pulled the string and made it look like I was just adjusting my arm. He FREAKED OUT, it was so funny, and he's not the type to freak out like that. Lol
I don't really remember many pranks being played on me, or ones that I've played. Though, at work they sometimes hide fake spiders and snakes around the office.

What I did was I told my mom that I had brownies in the oven, but when she opened it there was just brown paper E's on a baking sheet 😂😂😂

My only suggestion is not to use nailpolish on clay, it can discolour the clay over time and chips off very easily, instead use a glaze made for clay, or a polyurethane water-based glaze, for something longer lasting :3
Also, to add on to my previous comment, I also get pranked a lot by friends. When I am into a series (Anime, Manga, Cartoons, etc) they always "spoil it" and say something happens that doesn't actually happen. Like recently I was watching volume 3 of RWBY and my friend told me that the whole team dies. i'm not saying what actually happens, but that didn't actually happen. I think it's pretty funny.

For April Fools' Day, I once showered with fake dog poop soap. My mom was freaking out!
Me and my friend scared my cousin on a sleepover by doing a waking up a sleep walker gone wrong prank... She said she was so scared that my friend would wake me up, so she bribed her (my friend) by saying " Becky I'll give you a $50 Starbucks gift card ONLY if up you don't wake her (me) up." (even though I wasn't even really sleep walking 😂) but man I really want that $50 Starbucks gift card 😢😂

In the seventh grade a bunch of girls wanted to break into the science lab during a school fundraiser. I told them it's not a good idea but they didn't care. In the science lab, there is a door that should be locked but never is. Next to the door is a bunch of wires and motherboards that look like some sort of motion detector or alarm system. I pulled out my phone, and got a sound board with a bunch of alarms. The second they open that door I hit the home alarm button. They all got scared and ran. *BUT* I played another siren upstairs, that's supposed to be a police car in the distance, as if policemen were responding. One of the girls were legit crying and I couldn't stop laughing. The siren stopped, she was so nervous, then I told her it was a prank and showed her the sirens. She yelled at me and I got punched, but it was all worth it. *>:)*
I bought one of these but as a geocache, and it got taken, so maybe I'll make my own this time.

some tips for next time :), if there is any dust on your clay use 99% isopropyl rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab. second, DON'T use nail polish on polymer clay as it can react with the clay.
When my brother was scared of people dressed up, I got a cushion and put it over my face, walked into his room and he owed himself. That was a few years ago and he is 3 years older than me. :)
I once pranked my mum by turning all the furniture upside down and backwards (all the books on the bookshelf were turned around the wrong way) I also took any loose items and taped them to the ceiling and walls.(I'm 6 foot tall, mum is only 5'9")
One time I bent a paper clip to fit around my finger and colored red marker on my finger and on the paper clip and also I found a thumbtack that didn't have a needle on it so it drew "blood" on my finger and glued it on with glue

one time, i watched someone open their locker so that i would know their locker combo. Once i opened their locker, i wrapped every single thing in their locker with tin foil. I wrapped her textbooks, her magnets, her mirror, the hooks and the walls within the locker.

My English teacher today told us that we had to do a 5 minute presentation worth 100 points on a random topic and he got into so much detail the whole class thought it was real. After about 10 minutes of explaining it he quickly and secretly said April fools.
I gonna make these gum magnets,a bunch of them and put them all over my brothers room because my brother has a lot of metal in his room. 😄
One time in 5th grade I took 2 cookies and put a lot of salt on them to act as sugar. I gave it to one of my friends and he of course ate them, and he said they tasted bad. I offered him a water bottle and he took that to and ran to the bathroom and apparently barfed. The water wasn't water. It was vinegar. I got in trouble, obviously.

I pranked my sister by pouring nail polish on aluminum foil, drying it, cutting the aluminum foil around the sides, placing it on top of her computer, putting the bottle of nail polish on top of the "puddle" of nail polish ! She freaked out 😂😂
Thanksgiving morning my mom wanted to sleep in soo bad. I stayed the night at my brother's house and he decided to call mom at 8:00 a.m. and when he was done I asked what she said and he told me she said to call back in 20 minutes, so I did and once she found out my brother told me to call she yelled at him. My other brother came over a couple minutes later and we had told him that mom wanted to talk to him (he doesn't have a phone at the house so the only was she gets ahold of him is Mike (the brother I stay at) so he called and told mom that Mike told him she was trying to get ahold of him...boy did she get mad....later when my sister-in-law got outa the shower we told her my mom called and wanted to talk to her while she was in the shower. She called and my mom was gonna lose it once she heard Mike told her that. Well as soon as that was over I decided to call my mom's friend and say that my mom has been trying all morning to get
ahold of her so she called her and I guess she gave up sleep after that....I thought it was a good prank since my mom is always seeking sleep!!!!

You see, in my house my sink has a spray thing connected to it so that you can spray your dishes easily. My brother had tied a rubber band around the lever to turn it on. Long story short I had to mop up our kitchen. But that's not all, I didn't scream or give any indication as to the fact I was sprayed. It was completely silent. So, I found some seran wrap and put it in front of my brother's door. I then went back into the kitchen and screamed as if I had just been sprayed with the water. My brother came rushing out of his room to find that he had been pranked back. Little did I know that we had started a prancing war.

I filled my high school hallway with hundreds of balloons. It took an entire night but it was worth it.
I pranked my brother when I was like eight while he was sleeping i got nail polish and painted the whole half of his body and put makeup on him over the nail polish. It took him 3 days to get it off and he had to go to school like that😂😁
today, me and my friend pranked my whole class by telling them that someone jumped off a diving board and landed on her, we told the class that the had broken her coller bone and the guy who landed on her broke his leg, we told them it was a joke when the clock struck 12 and everyone was so annoyed because no-one noticed it was April fools day! we got em so good ! 😂

I once pranked my parents during my senior year in high school, it was 2nd period and I was in advanced art with my favorite teacher Ms. Wadell, there is a phone in her room that allows you too call outside landlines and I used it to call home. When someone answered (my Mom) Ms. Wadell had told my mother that I was being expelled from school for coming to class drunk and having drugs in my bag. she then put me on the phone, my mom was livid, she scolded me for 5 minutes before I told her it was a prank and that this was all just an April Fools Joke she was so relieved. lolz.

I once go pranked by a good friend of mine who made a new Facebook account and named themselves something completely random and then started talking to me pretending they were from this different universe, bringing facts into the conversation, and me being a gullible person, actually believed it was real :P I pretty much felt like an idiot afterwards XD

I don't even know that I can list one time that I've been pranked. I'm not at all a prankster, but my older brother was. He would prank you at any chance he got.
We took out the book return box in the library so when the kids put their book in we grabbed their arm or threw it back.
So last year I pranked my sister on April fools day and it's was hilarious! It all started when I got home. I saw some clear thing is I stuck in in both sides on the door. When my sister came home she had to go to the restroom so she ran into the room with the clear thing to put her backpack down and her face just smashed to it. Two years ago on April fools day, I put hand sanitizer all over the toilet seat. Then my brother went in to use the bathroom and sat in it. And while he was in there I took a rope and tide the door knob to another one and he couldn't get out until I let out after an hour later. My brother was mad at me for 3 weeks.
I once pranked my friend by baking cupcakes with chili powder added into the batter an giving them to her. She can't handle spicy food at all, so she was less than happy with the cupcakes.
