I passed the NCE on 10/12. I watched Dr. Pam’s videos 2-3x/wk, took notes, and used the purple book. Studied 1.5 months. Cutoff was 85, and I made 114 ♥️
I take the NCE on 11/21, and I have the purple book, and just found this resource to help supplement. Congratulations! I hope I’m as successful as you are.
@@dwoolard630 just now seeing this, sorry! I took the NCE on Nov 21, and I passed! Passing score for my exam was 84, and I got a score of 121. I used the purple book for two months before the exam and Dr. Pam’s videos about two weeks before the exam. I hand-wrote hundreds of flash cards, but I never reviewed them except for all the ones on important people. It just helped me to write the information down.
DR. Pam, you are being so powerfully used by God by doing this work and teaching with humor and grace! I passed my NCE on 9/29 and I thank you so much!!!
Dr. Pam, you keep saying that correlational research is qualitative, but it is listed under "quantitative" in the document you are showing everyone. I also found this explanation online: quantitative research What is correlational research? A correlational research design investigates relationships between two variables (or more) without the researcher controlling or manipulating any of them. It's a non-experimental type of quantitative research. Which is it?
I teach the basics to pass the test; the best way to think is that quantitative is cause and effect correlational is the relationship. knowing that nonexperimental research (survey) could be either qualitative or quantitative would not be a test question
Dr. Turner, can you provide me which video focuses on assessments? I am only seeing the short version and that was my lowest category on the CPCE. TIA!
Hi! Not sure if you’ll answer this: perhaps I’ll try emailing if I don’t get a response: first I want to thank you for these videos: they’re super helpful: question on number 27 on the practice question part 1:40:49: the answer is nominal because of categories but I feel the categories are more important than the order (ordinal) of said categories… any insight on this?

Did you say single study wouldn’t be used at an agency? I thought you said it was used in our work, I think I misunderstood.
This was sooo helpful.

Are inductive and deductive also referred to as top down, bottom up?
I like your videos, but this one is hard to watch with all the background noise. Have people turn off their mics if you're going to post this type.
Thanks for the update. Have you subscribed our channel, there are over 100 videos with less background noise
