I’m so glad that I stumbled on your channel tonight. I could relate to so many of the topics you were discussing. I was very engaged while stitching on my Long Dog Opus Magnusson. Thank you so much! ❤

I came across this video randomly tonight, just looking for a video to listen to while I was stitching my own project, and I'm glad I did! You have such a soothing voice, and it sounds like you've had such an interesting life so far. The stitch pattern is beautiful as well!

Hi ,thank you for another lovely stitch a long.
The subject of how the news affected you really touched home with me. I also was deeply saddened and consumed about all the tragic news especially surrounding children that has been aired the last few years. This maybe as i have grandchildren of the same ages . I cant watch news at all anymore as i cant take anymore tragedy , and the feelings of being helpless.
I love seeing all your progress on your projects , they are so beautiful , you must share with us your knitted blanket x
    Take care ❤

I really enjoyed this video. Thank you also for stitching on Fruits of Plenty as per my request. Yes my two kids who are now 21 and 26 have been on the computer a lot of their lives, socialising etc.. So I can relate to your family life too. You made me laugh! 😀 I also do knitting and crochet but cross stitch is my love.

Goodness, Carla! You were talking to my soul, not only to me. So deep, so relating to my own. As it is, we all are One, and everything is One. Just let us all realise that ❤

I'm just discovering Flosstubes and your channel. I love watch you stitch and listen to you talk. I had stopped stitching for years and Flosstubes reinspired me. When I saw your Fruits of Plenty I had to immediately buy it. I very much like that you are using a light blue background with white and dark blue threads. I think that combination is more attractive than the original. As for talking while you're filming yourself stitching, I'm finding myself commenting to you as I'm listening and then I"m laughing at myself. This is wonderful. I just turned 77 yesterday and this way of communicating is a great help to keep connected even though not exactly face-to-face. To not be isolated. I'm rambling. My chosen colors are in the lilac/lavender family. I think I'll buy 16 count aida light lilac/lavender. I have the right size of 32 count Lugana but I think even with a magnifier I won't be able to see the threads. I'm still laughing at myself. This is great fun. I'm missing out on the tragedy of the news. Sorry.

Hello. What a wonderful message (and gift) to receive upon waking. Mostly, just the joy of knowing that my words have brought a little happiness to others. Often, it is a wish that I could interact with some viewers, in that it might help to alleviate the discomfort of solitude and isolation that so many of us feel in our lives, including myself. I send heartfelt hugs and good wishes to you, hoping that your new chart brings you many hours of pleasure .
      Carla ☺️

Hi, Carla. Thank you for answering me. I hope you're doing well and enjoying your knitting and Fruits of Plenty. It's taken me two months to this revisit because I was such a motormouth the first time that I embarrassed myself. I very much appreciate your response. Since seeing your Fruits of Plenty I decided I wanted to stitch mine in the negative style (colored ground with dark and white floss). I couldn't find my first choice of ground color (very pale orchid or lilac) so I moved on to an aqua aida which I feel is a happy color. Now to find the right dark thread. I have lots of aquas and greens in my collection. Today it's mostly sunny outside so I'm going to take the cloth outside and lay it out on a picnic table and set my bobinated threads on it to see if I have the best match. Then I'll order all the skeins I need. It'll be a labor of love. Happy love. Thank you. @@TheStitchyWitch

Oh my goodness, I'm so glad you "rambled" in that direction. It touched my heart.
I've always been into learning the history of London, but you have peaked my interest in Scotland! I'll be reading some new things soon thanks to you.
Your fruits of plenty looks amazing. The colors are beautiful together.

Thanks 😊 Scotland is packed with interesting history. Most famously the Battle of Culloden (as depicted in the Outlander series).

You are such a lovely soul, I love to listen your heart touching "rumbling". We have so much in common, not just cross stitch and knitting😊 I'd love to see how your blanket/ throw is progressing❤

It's a weird way of being friends, through the socials. How can you be friends with someone you've never met? Do we "know" each other? I sometimes think we're all in The Matrix. Connected to digital devices sharing our thoughts and feelings. Unaware of the line between visions and reality.
