Thank you so much lady! Creating kaleidoscope is absolutely some of the best things to create in Polymer Clay!… I hope you will see your way into creating a few canes for yourself and enjoying them in whatever project you have coming up! Otherwise, sending you another big big big hug from Colorado back across the pond to yourself!🤗❤️👍🏻
LOLOLOL!! Aww, bless you, lady!! Keeping a slice of each stage makes such a huge difference for me in keeping track of what I have already discovered, what I have yet to try, and if I need to backtrack it's easier to remember what I have already done....less time wasted. But yet what a wonderful compliment, and I thank you for taking the time to let me know. It keeps me going and creating!! Sending you my biggest of big hugs!! :)
Thank you, Sandra! Bless you, lady! Yeah, for me, the registration line is essential when I create my kaleidoscope canes...It makes them so much easier to figure out where I am with putting the different patterns together. Again, thank you and sending my hugs! :)
LOLOLOL!! You are tooo cute, lady!! I am so thrilled you subbed!! I hope you will continue to enjoy my videos here on this channel...and just an FYI...if you ever want to take a chance on eggshell...you can always check me out there too...the egocentric egg lady!! LOLOL!! Sending you my big hugs! :)
Ohhh, wow!! Thank you so much for this...you are most kind!! Your feedback is so important to me here and helps me to keep going on the videos I create. Again, thank you!! I also hope it helps you get inspired and create whatever kaleidoscope you do!! Sending you my biggest of big hugs your way!! :)
Oh my goodness, I just noticed from the thumbnail that these tiles make X's and O's. This could be the fanciest set of tic-tac-toe tiles ever! Would be a great gift for a child.
Oh yeah!! Definitely!! You will find that when you go about doing kaleidoscope patterns in this manner, that there will be a tendency where one set goes into the x formation and another will go into the o formation. Hopefully you might try creating some of these kaleidoscope patterns. Sending big hugs!! :)
You are absolutely most welcome, Miss Holly!! And thank you for your very kind and "keeps me going" comment!! Sometimes I wonder if I make a difference through creating these videos and your input makes a difference for me. Bless you! And Yes, I believe in the "slice" thing. It not only gives me an idea of what I started with, but it is a visual cue for me as to where I am in the process of creating something. It makes a world of difference for me. Sending you my big hugs! :)
Awesome! Making slices to document the pattern along with the registration mark is the only way I think I can make sense of all of the patterns! Thank you Laura for sharing your know-how!
Bless you my dear lady!! Thank you for your kind support in my endeavors here, I am blessed to have you there cheering me on! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and sending you my biggest of hugs!! 😁❤️👍🏻
Laura...You took complicated and made it simple to understand.....I now have tried this and LOVE IT TO PIECES!!! Thank you so much for you simple clear and precise tuts.....They are AWESOME and so are YOU!!!😍 Huge Hugs Elle
Awwww. Ellen, how gracious you are in your kind compliment!! Thank you for that, lady!! I am so thrilled this has worked so well for you!! I have been building up a lot of my caning videos to get to this particular video. And the reason for this is to give you a couple of canes you can already do before tackling the kaleidoscope beast! LOLOLOL I hope to keep inspiring you with my videos and as always….sending you my hugs!! 😁
Thank you, lady!! Yeah, there is so much to creating a square kaleidoscope cane. And these patterns will come about time and again. The nice thing is you and others can now create these particular canes. I hope you are having a great day and sending you my hugs! :)
Well, thank you so much! That does my heart good!… I am so thrilled you are enjoying my channel and hopefully getting a lot of good tips and tidbits out of it to create in Polymer Clay! I hope it will inspire you and you will create and create and create!… Sending you my big hugs your way!🤗👍🏻❤️

Hi Laura. What a fabulous informative video. It was really interesting to see how many different patterns you created from one cane and as you said the emphasis on longer shapes in some and rounder shapes in the other. I hadn't thought to keep slices for reference but it makes so much sense. Thank you Laura
Thank you very much, Miss Clare!! I wasn't planning to put this video out this soon, but I couldn't wait...it had to be done! LOLOLOL!! When I first figured this out, I was thrilled because some of my kaleidoscopes are so fun that I want more of them, so with this method, I can recreate them many times over, when I want and for me it saves on how much clay I invest into the process too. So, I wanted others to have that same insight... And yeah, those slices are sooooo important. They will give you a reminder as to what you used, the colors, etc. I have more information on this sort of thing, but my hope is to possibly get it up on my patreon, where I will be featuring patterns using this method, and other little tips... this way people will no longer have to guess at how to create these wonderful patterns, they will have the information right there, already done. I hope you are having a great day, my dear...and I am sending out my biggest hugs to you! :)
@@laurajschiller I think the gift in this video, is to understand that by combining simple components you can make something beautiful, that makes you look really accomplished at your craft. Then for a beginner to be able to see that just through changing colour combinations you open up a magical world of endless possibilities and this is where the fun begins. Lets face it, when any of us start a new craft we are hoping to make something stunning. I love that you show that this ability is open to anyone.
@@clare9637 I couldn’t possibly put it any better than what you just wrote!! Wow!! I have been saying for years that anyone can pick up this clay and become good at creating some very beautiful work. It’s a matter of practice and time. But truly Clare, again thank you for your comment!! Not only are you kind in your words towards me, but you bring very insightful thoughts as to what I am trying to portray through these videos and in that you enrich us all. Sending you my hugs! 😁👍🏻❤️
You are most welcome, Leeanne!! I am glad I put this out then! I was planning to do this a little later, but I just couldn’t wait any longer. Hope you have a fantastic day and big hugs! 😁
Thank you so much!! I am so glad you enjoyed this!! I have to admit, I loved how this kaleidoscope cane group turned out!! I hope you will try and create this or something similar to it. Sending you big hugs! :)

Yes!! Please do!! You will find it helps sooooo much!! And I find it gives me more options on what pattern I truly want instead of just settling for the one you might otherwise stubble upon. Sending you my hugs! :)
That was great. Loved seeing all the patterns that can be developed from the original cane. Besides your great Natashas, are there other ways you like using the cane ends?
Thank you, Suzan, lady! Bless you! This is a video that I have been building up to for awhile now. And yes, there are more ways to use the cane ends. I hope you have a great day!! And sending you my hugs! 😁
