You don't know how much I appreciate seeing REAL travel experiences. This is probably the first video I've seen by any "world traveler" that has shown the struggles of lugging suitcases, cobbling funds together to buy a snack, and squeezing into a a small airbnb. I'm sure there are plenty out there, but this is the only one that I have seen. This channel is just so cool.

I pick themes for my new year rather than specific goals. I find it's something I can actually stick to and when I look back on the year, the impact of choosing a theme is evident. This year my theme is order, bringing order into my life where chaos took over. Basically lots of decluttering lol

I visited Krakow in 2009. Amazing city. I felt so moved being in the chairs square. The Schindler's List Memorial was surreal, I cried. I was in Poland for my husband to receive a treatment for MS that was not available in Canada at the time. He has since succumbed to his illness, but Poland will always hold a very special place in my heart ❤
I have to admit I was getting a little worried since you guys have not posted anymore videos in about a month. Glad to see you two are o.k. and went back to see your families during that time. Happy New Year by the way.
I agree with Greg's travel assessment. Travel days are endlessly excruciating. Especially, the metal detectors, flight delays, lines for passports/visas. Prefer a 10 mile hike with a leg cramp wearing flip-flops.
My parents loved Poland on their bus tour through Europe. And guess what, there are so many places I want to go but I’ve never thought “Poland is on my bucket list!” I’d much rather be in Mexico.

Poland? I remember when my grandmother went back to her moms homeland and hated every minute. LOL, it was in the 70’s and in a very rural area. My good friend went to medical in Poland in the late 70’s and hated the “food” and just about everything else? He quit and came home also! Good stuff thanks for sharing.

Welcome back. You look great too. Time with family is great. Glad you got recharged. The coffee sponsorship sounds great. It would only be better if they would sponsor you to go to each region to launch the month. My dad defaults to Hola everywhere to. lol. Congrats on Zakopane too. We loved it there. My father and I love to inspire and be inspired by other travelers. As park rangers with degrees in anthropology, we are drawn toward content with information on culture, historical sites, ecology and local food. I appreciate you sharing your experience and I look forward to being back in Mexico on our Drive around the world. - Bear

Can't wait until you get back to Mexico, but, you're not from Mexico, you might live there but you're from Texas. We just spent 2 nights in Guanajuato and some little gringa peddling cheesecake with a whiney English voice, "Yea, I'm from here". And I said , "No, you live here but you're not from here"! My new sister-in-law is Sicilian and when she came to visit me in the suburbs, her and my brother are living downtown in San Diego, she told me that this (pointing to my clean cut picturesque suburban neighborhood) was the picture she had of America when she was growing up dreaming of coming here. I didn't realize this was so unique, suburbia lol
