Also, Leonard was made aware of the suicide of Belgian singer Yasmine who was a lesbian with a broken heart. and who had recorded some of his songs. Leonard sang two songs to her memory: "Bird on a Wire" and "There ain't no Cure for Love," thereby capturing her life and death in two beautiful songs.
