As matter of fact it seems to be a beginning of new era to erase the bloody line sketched in 1947 between families and friends. I can feel it as my father also migrated from Indian Punjab and how he used to remember his friends and his mentor sardar Devan Singh Maftoon, a brave journalist editor of news paper Riyasat, Delhi.

Really emotional story! I’m 35 years old now & lives in USA but when I was 12 years old got a chance to visit border near dera baba Nanak with my ancestors! They had migrated from Indian village shehzada near dera baba Nanak! My ancestors were extremely emotional & I saw tears in their eyes & they just wanted to go there & my father is no more with us but I still feel how he was emotional & eager to go there!
My grandfather was from " pind pasharian" tehseel "nakodar" distctict jaladhar. I want to see my ancesstor's village. I can feel the fragnance of our ancesstor's village
What an emotional view of this memorable meeting. I couldn't stop my tears ! Thanks to Mr. Nasir Dhillon & Mr. Lovely Singh for arranging this meeting. I can feel the sensations & the pain because my ancestors were also belong to that part of the border. I have been visiting India to meet my relatives there but the visits stopped after the restrictions and some hurdles imposed by Indian authorities. Some of my relatives there couldn't be found after hard struggle. The present Indian Government has made the situation worst which is very disappointing We pray to Almighty Allah to bless & facilitate all the people on both sides of border. Rab Raakha.

My tears drops spell like rain that day. True that it was very emotional video. My late mother was 14 years of age when she migrated from Ferozepur, East Punjab with her family perhaps few weeks after the partition of United India. The boundary commission took sometime in deciding certain districts of Punjab namely Ferozepur, Pathan Kot and Jalandar as they had access to Kashmir state. Muslims living in those districts were optimistic that all those will eventually awarded to Pakistan. However it happened on the contrary and delayed announcement by the boundary commission caused another round of bloodshed in those districts as the Muslims were informed by the evening time thru the loud speakers of the mosques and rioters were aware of such developments earlier than general public. Thanks to Allaah Almighty that the entire maternal family reached Pakistan safely. My mother usually shared her stories of her unusual migration to us to value and respect the hard earned achievement of independent state Pakistan.
And Indian Government was opposing this project of Kartarpur Corridor. Thanks to Pakistan Government and Indian Punjab Government for completion of Kartarpur corridor which makes it possible that Sikh brothers and sisters can visit Holy sites and people can come to see their loved ones across the border.

I met Sheeka Khan (Habib Khan) just two days back. Village Phullewala falls in Bathinda, in Phul Block where I am posted. My sister and I had a light interview with him. Such a great soul he is. Lived his whole life as the son of the whole village and now, as the Bapu of the village. Loved and respected by all.
