But mostly, as an Ne-dom, I find all of these other expressions of Ne so fascinating! Your millions of relationship scenarios is obviously (at least, this is how it seems to me) your Ne under the influence of your Fi. Our Ne (ENTP and ENFP) is under the influence of NO-ONE, it goes wherever, grabs whatever it sees, drops it for the next thing. It's why, at our most stereotypical, we're awful commitmentphobes (maybe ENTP more than ENFP, I don't know), no matter how much we love that special someone.
It is so strange yet beautiful when I see someone's Ne functioning under a layer of structure (Ti) or values, wants and feelings (Fi).
Anyway, I've rambled, and probably no-one's even going to read this...
INTJ after an awkward dating just ended : *reconstructing every possible chat with much better answer and regretting every single words that have been spoken*
I generally put a lot of thought into conversations and possible questions/answers beforehand, but assuming something catches me off guard this is definitely accurate.
You know thst does also happens to me as ENTP, although it more me rethinking the arguements and realizing that I could have been even more right 😂

Like I don't want people to know the real me. my true character, thinking , ideas, my goals, my next move , if I have a lover or not and how I like him to be , don't want to show my 1000% lovely light side ( cuz it would be a waste of energy and they deserve any effort) and don't want to show my weakness I would be dying inside and crying night and the day after I'm a cold rock and all put together . but if someone ask me : something deferent with you today are you okey ? I would explode with tears but I hold my self with cold expressions . but inside i'm like ( yeeeees i'm tireeeeed I wanna reeest and I need a hug and want to be treated like a baby )
And I be quit most of time enjoying my own company and I hate interacting with people when i find a red flag i get bored so quick I can't keep a conversation loong with a nonsense topic so I run to be alone again but if they ask for help i do help them and lovingly I put my energy and I don't wait for a return then i run . but if they offer to help me I refuse .i don't ask for help from anyone i trust no one even if i be so tired but I keep doing my thing alone till I see the result .
And I'm tired of being like this .tired of being strong . showing no emotions .bottling them up . I trust no one and I hate it . I have no real friends just classmates . and the list long but those are the most annoying in my personality .

Agynessdin I agree. I (INFJ) and my spouse (INTJ) work well this way. Our dating period was a mixture of beautiful dorky awkwardness and intricate planning of everything. It was (and still is) amazing.
I'm an INFP and I observed that when I like someone, I get especially observant about them, about their likes, feelings, reactions, thoughts, etc. But I dunno how to show I like them instead I get friendly and thoughtful(?) if that is the right word for it. Like I take into consideration his side all the time.

It took me forever to find out who I was and now that I realize I was wrong the entire time (thought I was INTJ but actually INFJ), I've just been going wild finding tons of new information that relates to me on a super deep level. I feel very misunderstood IRL so when I see these videos get it THIS well, it's impossible not to binge-watch xD
I think the misunderstandings are common for the INxx types if I remember properly. INTJs (and I assume INTPs as well) get misunderstood a ton too.

@@kalecia Though I know I'm an INFJ for sure now, I never got those results from the test. I just don't really trust the 16p method it uses and base it off functions instead because I find it to be more reliable.
Ironically, though, in this case, intj and infj share introverted intuition as the primary function, so it becomes a bit more difficult xD Because with a total of 8 functions there's only 2 types with any one function as the main function

All I can say as an INFP that adores INFJs (no offense to the other MBTIs) my experience with INFJs is they love cuddles, being treated like a baby, and over-analyzing things. And they have amazing poker faces (like INFPs sometimes).

Then I didn't see him for a couple of days (which was hard to do, cause we live almost next to another and use the same kitchen xD) and rarely texted back - I was still answering, just wasn't on my phone very much, my uni exams were coming up (I tried to focus on learning all the stuff I would've learned weeks before😅). He eventually got it and acted normal the next time I saw him.

As an INFJ, I can't help but stare into people's eyes while they talk and end up getting so engrossed in observing their eyes or lips that I forget what they were even saying, lol.
Sometimes I try not to be a creep and try to look away every 15 seconds (some site told me it's the max time I should stare, lol) but then I just divert all of my attention to counting the seconds and then staring deep into their eyes or at their teeth (Idk why even)

There’s a lot of people who are cocky and self righteous but thats different than true confidence, and those people actually tend to be the most insecure so they’ve developed ways of drawing lots of people in and keeping them close. But the right people will be drawn to your confidence, and it will get you far while being able to keep your own pride and wellbeing intact.

I (ENFP) am nowhere near to being as spiritual as her (I do trust the universe and I believe everything happens for a reason, you attract people because they are meant to teach you something or because you're similar to them -> law of attraction etc. But there's not much more "spiritual" about me and my beliefs). We can chat about her experiences tho and I try my best to make sense of it. I'd never judge her, even if it sounds crazy to me sometimes (I guess it's cause her Fi is much stronger than mine)

To all the oblivious INTPs out there: you are valid and it's totally OK to be oblivious, there's nothing wrong with it. For me personally, it's not just with relationships, but with all communication in general, I prefer knowing things straight-up, without having to read between the lines. Relationship communication is fickle, and if you're not ready to put in the effort to make a relationship work (like me), that's completely alright too. If there are certain affection needs you want (because, despite being cold and calculated, we are still human.. someone described INTPs as "warmest machines"), make the boundaries clear, because from what I found, some people don't like the wishy-washy uncertainty.

I'll give you a bit of a backstory: I've known this INTJ guy since 2009, talked every now and then, and it was a surprise to me that he jokingly proposed last Christmas, and we often spoke of meeting up in the future someday - but Ms. Corona HAD to put her two cents in. LOL. He used to pursue me, like hounding me, often sweet. Would say he misses me, but I was just plain busy with work and school. And we always kept things light, we'd get along talking about so many things under the sun. He'd actually wrote long paragraphs or send audio msgs most of the time for months. VERY rare selfie. No calls. (is this an INTJ trait? 😂) And Then... Nothing. He'd occasionally text back, then the replies get shorter, and takes longer, say 12 hours to days. He rarely ever opens up, and I as an ENFJ, the perpetual protagonist, am so embarrassingly patient. I feel like he's waned and not committed anymore, and well, I guess I wouldn't know for sure, bc he's so shrouded in mystery. You know I only knew about his MBTI personality just 2 days ago? 😂 And I'm like ohhhhh now that makes a lot of sense. I assumed he as Leo (yes I'm into astrology as an Aquarius) was some kind of party person, but I don't know 🤷🏻♀️

I don't know if for good ir bad, we have the tendency to be more racional then sentimental. So, you know, that kind of applies for our relationships as well. What I mean is that you should probably talk to him openly about your currently thoughts and try to work it out. As the other guy said above, we really apreciate honesty.
If, as you said, he showed interest First he possibly had thought about it a lot. We don't start things to see were it goes, we wait to be certain it's going to work. And if it don't, we are more likelly to solve it or end it once for all.
Again, we are really bad at hints, so just say it directly (just don't force it, you know). He probably didn't realize this is upseting you, we are really blind sometimes...
But of course there are exceptions, not necessarily everybody is the exact description of MBTI personality, and sometimes we have other traits as well. But I guess if he didn't show clear signs of ending the relationship, the odds are at you favor, haha.
I bet a good tip when dealing with INTJ's is: don't assume things, ask and discuss. Hope It helps!!

What happens if you're an INTJ-T and they are also an INTJ-T?
It was exactly a year ago when I realized that I liked my INTJ friend... we get along very well because we understand each other. I can often interpret the unspoken things simply by reflecting on what I personally value.
This is scary, because I realize how similar we are.
I've already done a lot of research on my friend, but he is as impossible to read as I am. I know that I am really good at concealing what I feel, by systematically removing emotions, locking them up, and then smiling at him, thinking of ways to talk to him, talking to him, and analyzing all interactions.
Recently, I hired my extraverted friend to, well, basically interrogate him about his stance on relationships.
It worked well because my friend is a expert in navigating social waters. (unlike me)
So he basically said a few key things:
- No one will ever like him
- He will never make the first move, and if he liked anyone, that person wouldn't know
- He'd be single forever
- Love is a chemical/ hormone in the brain - and hence isn't real
And I was sitting there, in secret agony and painful delight, as I look externally bored about this subject, pretending to do work, whilst my brain starts overthinking and reevaluating everything.
It might be worth noting that he sometimes spend time with me with no apparent purpose.
I, on the other hand, don't, but instead I create opportunities ('work' related) in order to spend more time with him.
I'm terrified of trying to confess to him, especially since I cannot be sure if he likes me that way or not.

It will be different perhaps when or if we actually meet face-to-face someday. Body language, actual chemical response as the person above says as well. Unspoken words and facial expressions are more than half of the importance of the connection. She is fortunate to see and meet their INTJ already for a while now. At least you guys can observe the facial expressions. Me, an ENFJ, can't see anything beyond a phone screen, slow feedback, waning to zero 'likes' on my posts, and the rarest of selfies.
I have asked him already yesterday if us not meeting must be something the Universe doesn't want. At least at this time. I suggested/joked that maybe he should make the plans and as a Man, take the lead. He says "don't be old-fashioned"
I am again confused by him, with this statement. **Facepalm** He seems to want to avoid any serious discussion and is non-committal. Quite the opposite of what he said just a few months ago -- Having a solid plan of pursuing a PhD in the future and picking an Asian wife (he puts many 😂 emojis for this) so that he doesn't feel like he missed opportunity in settling down to build a future, while studying for 5-7 years. Sometimes I can't tell if he's joking or not, or stringing me along, but your response shed light on the matter that generally INTJ's plan for the long term and rarely wavers.. The fact that they did express interest First, would bode well for me lol.

Something that REALLY creeps me out though is when someone looks straight in the eye. It’s so creepy.

Same, I have a hard time keeping eye contact. If I have even one set of eyes on me I start acting goofy on purpose as a defense mechanism and then more people start looking at me lol. I’m also an info. But strangers looking at me I try to act shy and smile back if I remember to do that before I instantly break eye contact by looking down and then looking at random things. Edit: I’m also an INFP.

@@Soldiers_Of_God I often did think of that when I was younger, but that was because people always told me that I was ugly. So now when people ask me out, I still think that it's a practical joke....not quite the same thing, but still understand.
