And it's also nice to see that Layzie understands now that he's a legend himself. That shit made me genuinely feel bad though when he described himself and the rest of the group as "hungry little kids". That's exactly what they were. But look, their struggle paid off. I have a strong appreciation here for the WAY that Layzie told this story. I think a lot of artists would take the defensive, or embellish it. But Lay did that shit with such humility- it was a humbling experience he had as a younger man, and they persevered. I am very grateful that they did because Bone Thugs n Harmony is a very big part of my life and music throughout my life.
