So I just opened my studio up to see that 90k people have clicked that subscrib button and I don't know how to describe how weird it feels. It feels like yesterday, not a year and a half ago that I was at Henry's lake with Kevin (30andawakeup), shooting a van tour with a stranger who somehow helped convince me to actually publish the videos I was making. It feels like yesterday I was shooting my little q&a, saying thank you to the 1,000 people who were following along at the time, and thanking Kevin, and Jaylena (leave her wild) for helping to inspire me to keep moving forward. This has been a damn wild ride, and I just want to say thank you for everyone who watches these videos.... I still don't quite understand why you guys keep coming back, but it's been the biggest gift of this lifetime of mine so far to be able to learn how to tell my story, and to be able to grow a little community of like minded people at the same time. Yep. That's all the words I have for today, I hope everyone is doing well, I'll see you next Monday (probably lol) with my next video ❤️❤️❤️
Most of these TH-cam videos are a waste time, with the exception of yours. I look forward to your posts every time they're up. When you post a new one I can't wait to view it. Keep them coming and I look forward to the next one. Happy trails dear Mariah!
Your videos are so calming. The thing that calms me the most is that you talk about real feelings that everyone experiences but some can’t vocalize. It really helps people. Glad your having a good time.
Jeez Mariah, your ability to capture and beauty of your surroundings has gotten so good. The cinematography in this video was top notch stuff. Keep it up, you're seriously so talented
Someone once told me that life is understood by looking backwards - but best lived in the moment. I think it's so cool that you're doing what you're doing and you will certainly have memories to cherish for a lifetime. I'm a wee bit envious even though I know I never could have lived that life when I was your age.
Good afternoon! I don't usually comment but decided to on a whim. You're an inspiration! I've watched all your videos and look forward to the next one. You've come a long way in many ways 😁 The quality of content is continually improving! Thank you for sharing!! You and Finn are so adorable! Enjoy every moment! Safe travels 😎☀️💚
I'm always jealous watching your videos! The Rio Grande gorge area is one of my bucket list stops this summer on my "back on the road" boondocking in New Mexico and Colorado! I'm so glad I got on YT on my quick lunch break, it gives me that little extra motivation to get back out there. Thank You!
The Rio Grande Box. Good trout fishing in the area. Watched all your NM videos, so glad you loved the state. I left for 10 years to the west coast in north county San Diego, and then to Phoenix, AZ. Moved back home a year ago. Never thought I'd miss NM when I left but am so happy to be home. Incredible work experience while gone that has paid off for me now. Safe travels.
So appreciate your ability to be so raw/vulnerable and hilarious 🙌🏻😂 I get so excited for van life feeling your calm energy and the beautiful landscape of this planet
Finn was like...you don't have to ask me twice, let's go. That water looked refreshing and I guess it can be hard to find someone while in van life, but don't give up I believe in you I can tell your a really special girl. Be safe.
Finn 😍😍😍 Was so glad to see this one today! I thought maybe you were doing once a fortnight now and although I'd be sad to see less, I completely understand the need to take breaks and set a reasonable schedule as a youtuber. Another gem 💎 you videos are actually art and that's why we keep coming back. Watching you appreciate your surroundings and be in awe of how good life is makes me feel so good and reminds me to appreciate what I have too. Also, you mentioned that sometimes you prefer filming and then going back and watching it with nostalgia rather than being there. I believe that's changed for you....? And I can so relate! You are inspiring me to start working on my own art (perhaps making videos also). Beautiful video again Mariah, keep shining. Lots of love from NZ ❤
Jumped ahead to catch this video, while still trying to catch up with the old videos. If you were to start podcasting, what kind of podcast would you host? Your narration style and voice can definitely fit a podcasting career for story telling and such.
There are at least 5 stages in life. You are in stage 2. Don't judge yourself like you are in stage 4. You're doing great, keep going. It's enjoyable to witness and share in your growth and enlightenment.
I've been watching your videos for a little while now and I just wanted to stop and say thank you. I've been wanting to do van life for some time now, but you have cemented this idea for me. You talk about this stuff with such honesty and are very up front with the struggles. These were things I knew would exist, but so many other van life TH-camrs only ever show the highlights and I was definitely struck by the beauty and trendiness, but I'm glad to have found your videos, because now I really understand what I'm getting myself into. I know I'm going to have a hard with feeling lonely and stuff, but I somehow feel more ready for it
Its so awesome to end the day watching your wholesome videos. I work in the middle of a big city and commute 3 hours every day so to see your wonderful content is so relaxing and the polar opposite lifestyle of mine. Godspeed to the north Mariah and Finn! :)
The scenery in this video is magical ✨🏜 so pretty. I have watched you since the first video & I have watched you find your happy place & your confidence. You go girl. There is no time frame to your journey. It's yours to repeat, pause, play, or forward to the new. I myself am not a camping kind of girl 😅🤭, but the mountains & nature hit the soul. ❤️
Not me sitting here tearing up at how beautiful that Utah camp spot is... And I know it's gotta be even better in person! Thank you for sharing all that you do! ❤
Another great video. I need to ask you how to guitar playing is going. I find music being very therapeutic to reduce anxiety for myself. I actually started posting a couple vacation videos that you influenced to capture the sights I visited. Also, congratulations on the 90,000 subscribers. Absolutely remarkable and well deserved. 100,000 is right around the corner. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The Rio Grande Gorge is very cool -- I was there many years ago on a motorcycle trip through Northern New Mexico. Thanks for sharing it and bringing back memories.
Ya Utah is kinda special, and so are you! I appreciate your honest approach and learnings along the way. Enjoy, be brave and hope to cross paths on the journey.
The night sky full of a million stars is just sensational SO clear in open country! While u were having dinner there was a unique pile of rocks! 🤗 love from Australia 🇦🇺💖
Mariah, your work is great on so many fronts... I'm not sure I know precisely why I keep coming back. Even at my advanced age, it's helpful and empowering to hear you work so hard on understanding yourself. None of us comes with an owner's manual after all. I too have struggled with how to tell my story. For all I know, a million books may have been written on the subject, but it's you telling your story in the way you do, that gives me and others permission to find my way as well. Keep doing your thing!
A nice view of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the Taos Gorge. It has been a very windy time here more than normal which isn't helping the raging fires. Did you hear the hum? I've never heard it, but some people swear there is a hum in Taos. I hope you had a chance to see the Earth Ship homes and visit our humble little town. Congrats on the growth of your channel.
I'd highly recommend a cheap meal I've been making recently : Spaghetti with Manwich sauce (preferring the bold flavor atm) and green chiles and peppers (Rotel brand). It's so simple and easy to make.
Mexican hat!! I once spent time I'm valley of the gods right down the street. Such a beautiful area. I miss it. Places like these make me want to live on the road.
Hi Mariah, I enjoy watching your videos and living the van life vicariously through your fascinating adventures and self-examinations. I felt so sorry for you, seeing how cold you were in your recent video. You might be interested in going to Amazon and looking at their USB rechargeable heated vests or even stopping at a large truck stop and seeing if they have a heated blanket. I notice that it helps other van life creators to be comfortable and warm. I hope to join the nomad lifestyle soon. I admire your great attitude and your quest for self-knowledge while experiencing and discovering what life has to offer. Keep on being you! All the best to you. Ken K.
My dear, you have certainly stumbled upon something! This video is terrific! I feel like watching this, I have a whole new energy on life! You outlook, and attitude is that of legends. Keep doing whatever magic you are doing! High five, big hug, THANK YOU!
I loved the video! I'm boondocking in Wasatch National Forest, watching snow fall, and rethinking my decisions. Some warn air sounds good right about now.
Every moment of every day is never the same it always has changes big or small they will all fit together when you're ready to let them :) every experience only grows you and educates you in ways that when you're ready it will all come alive and you will be happier then ever :)

Hey Ben
Not sure if you’ve watched the YT channel “CheapRVliving” Bob wells channel.
They have put together some small caravan groups and meet ups for Van/car/RVers.
Beside the YT channel they have a great website. On there they have all the info for the meet up/caravans.
May be something you would like to pop into if your in an area where they will meet up.
I know there are also van meet ups for a weekend where it’s a planned event to connect with others. They have one in Bend, OR.
Yes so many meet up events like that. Good way to connect with the community of travelers.
And of course in the winter if you travel to Quartzite AZ you will be surrounded by lots of travelers of every sort.
It’s a wonderful time. Lots of videos on that area.
Safe travels and enjoy~
Great camera angles! I always wondered if two cameras (one for distance, one for first-person) would help create good cinematic shots, let alone one.
Great drone shots!!!!!
