Hello, I saw a video where the triton plus had a feature for cutting a honda under duplication? I have the older triton and my friend does as well. I have no feature for this honda duplication. He said that he got a file from lock labs and down loaded it to the triton and the honda duplication is on his old machine ? Is there away to get this as well form you ? Thanks.
Hi there, as for Honda duplication, there are two ways to do so. You can simply go to the Automobile section and select the proper make model and year to decode and cut, OR you can use the trace duplication feature. When using the trace duplicate for HON66 keys, make sure to select "Double External Groove" then "Tip" and jaw S1-B. If you are talking about the Honda stainless steel keys, that trace duplicate and key profile are only available on the Triton Plus or upgraded Tritons. -Samie
Both you and Nick's videos really didnt start with Back up your settings. They also didnt show how to verify your settings are backed up. Now the usb stick I used is not showing up and I uninstalled triton app and had to use another usb stick and manually download and us ES file explorer to sideload from usb stick because browser wouldnt resolve. It wouldnt hurt to have added some basic function to the android system so it can load your own website and not give your customers heart attacks.
I'm sorry that you were having problems updating your Triton! We are planning to make a video showing how to back up your data within the next few weeks. Unfortunately, it would still require internet connection and the servers to be good to load up our website, but once you have the newer version installed, you will be able to update normally through the app with WiFi. -Samie
