I am waiting for knee replacement surgery.
I have osteoarthritis in the front of my knee, two ruptured ligaments, a torn meniscus, and my knee cap is dislocated.
Can’t wait to get it fixed!

Thank you for sharing this video. You put it all into perspective with the knee model and your clear and concise explanation of the entire knee replacement process. I was a little concerned for my upcoming knee replacement surgery but after watching your video I am much more comfortable with knowing the process and procedures. Again, thank you so much!😃

Thanks for the video. Please, how can I find places in Brazil where this procedure is done? My father is 72 yo, and I would like to consider the least invasive option to fix both of his knees. Great video

Wondering if my xray shows a reasonable amount of cartridge ,does this automatically disqualify me for a replacement, regardless of the amount of pain Im in, or of my knee doesnt always track properly ,causing me to limp often ? This is the message I was given yesterday when I met with a surgeon here in Toronto

If one were to have knee replacement surgery, would one be able to go back into heavy labor related work or heavy powerlifting or anything involved with resistance against the knee itself?

    I am a HUGE gymnastics junkie❣️
Although Simone is a SUPERB athlete…as elite as they come ❣️
I feel like her artistry and timing is lacking a bit sometimes….I understand she is the best in the sport now but there are many young gymnasts up and coming and what I am referring too as artistry will be evident….

Negative - I played AA volleyball for 20 years which accounted for approximately 22,500 jumps. Never injured myself due to extreme muscular development. But the wear and tear on my knee joint is now evident 20 years later. I have a partial meniscus tears and some total meniscus failure in joint. Need a total knee replacement but will try some steroid injections and gel injections to prolong surgery.

They don't tell you about what happens when it fails. They never bring up the risk of infection or rejection. I'd rather have a dead guys knee . Because it can heal it's self. When this breaks , you need a specialist. And as it wears it doesn't self repair so you will absolutely , at some point need another surgery. Dr.s get more like used car salesmen all the time.
