Well done! I'm going to tie the fly, but I'm unsure of the placement of the eyes. I understand from watching Bob Clouser tie his deer tail version that the distance from the eye of the fly to the weighted eyes was to give a special motion to the fly. I'm wondering if the use of the jig hook replaces that spacing? BTW, Brett you came to the CFFU meeting last year, and tied your Pink Coho. Went to Alaska with a dozen of them, and they were magic even in deeper water. Outfished the outfitters flies by an ungodly amount. They were also durable and caught dozens of fish with little wear.
