I do feel like mentioning that even though Cid is very dense and not really aware of the situations he's in, this event shows us that he cares very highly of Alpha in his own way. This really shows that Alpha is probably the closest person to Cid. He is really happy when she is, maybe not in the same way or level but the emotion is there.
Lambda being so earnest made her the best cupid, I wouldn't be surprised if she learned to be a chocolatier by spending time with Epsilon. Delta needs to learn to read the room. Alpha was very kawaii, good thing she powered through to convey her feelings, she deserved the win.
Tbh, with most romance story. It is always the boy trying to be perfect for the girl. But in this, we have the girl trying to be perfect for the boy because of her ridiculously high standard she set for herself. Really nice change of pace. Edit: Also, the fact Cid say that he wants to play more of the eminence in shadow with Alpha cement this event in my heart. It really shows that Alpha is just that important to Cid.
The funny thing is that Cid thinks Alpha is amazing regardless. He was more than happy to spend time with her, notice he was always up for it. She also ties with Aurora for the person he is the most comfortable with, Delta being a close second. Alpha just places way too many expectations on herself. She is too responsible for her own good, thankfully Cid helps her destress. You also can't fault how deredere Alpha is, even when under Lambda's training.

I know this would never happen considering Cid's personality, but I wish that instead of Alpha getting to give her chocolates (first anyway), that Cid ultimately surprises Alpha with a surprise chocolates gift. This would be a great subversion that would perfectly paint the two's relationship as more than just a Chunni Leader and the 2nd in command elf. This ending was more than satisfactory in its own right
Loved this event, Alpha’s outfit was cute but we also got Lambda, Nu, Chi and Omega to have their spotlight! 😍 Everyone wanted to support their serious and capable leader, especially when they finally got the chance. 22:08 where does her confidence come from. 😂
Delta has good instincts and high stats, they weren't a match. They lost the minute they tried to pull rank on her, her theriantrope logic demanded she asserted her position in the pack. The right call would be to say Alpha-sama didn't seem like she wanted interruptions and then invite Delta for stew. They figured it out eventually, so its not all bad.
Delta might lack in tactics but compensates with absolute and overwhelming physical power. To beat her while being weaker, you'd need to have the same skill level as Alpha or above. And she's genius level.
Am I the only one who found it sus that Cid knew to protect the chocolates even though Alpha hadn't mentioned it or showed it yet? (It also wasn't protected by slime, so you can't say that he detected it via magic beforehand)
Its sus at first glance but when you think of a extreme 8th grade Syndrome/edge lord that's too used to manga and such in stories. Out of all the stuff anime has love and such appears the most so I could see it's something he's used to picturing a scenario happening. It ruins the surprise in a sense for himself but it was still nice to protect it

I really just wish i could step in to give her real advice.. To any woman who reads this far and is struggling with a similar situation, here is the same advice id give alpha, i give to you. But you have to follow my instructions to the letter. Can you do that? Good.. First off i want you to close your eyes (i know you cant read this with your eyes closed, this is for after you finish reading.) Next i want you to imagine yourself in a dark room, pitch black with nothing visible but your own body and what else im about to describe. In this dark room, in front of you is a photo collage of your life. Everything you can remember from the beginning to the present. Within this collage are also drawings of your dreams and aspirations. See it all? Good. Now imagine all those picture are being moved away from your line of sight. Within the now blank space, fill that void with all the memories you have with this person. The good times, and the bad times. With that, now take some of those drawings of your dreams, specifically the ones that include that special someone in put them in front of you. As you go through each picture and each drawing, let the emotions you have fill you. If you cry from joy and love, youre on the right track. Once youre done, let those feelings simmer in your heart and let them solidify. You got it? Excellent... now once youre in front of that person you want to confess to, speak from the heart.. Will you get rejected? Possibly.. theres always a chance. But it would be better to tell them now and heal a broken heart later, than it would be to nurse feelings you never got the courage to confess and let them slip away..
