Good enough Non veg buffet but not a hundred items. You will be offered breakfast, lunch, dinner depending on your schedule. If you arrive at 4pm and leave at 1am, you get only dinner and maybe snacks. You can walk around a bit, but nothing much to enjoy in that layover time.

So they requested for accomodation. I got the accomodation in gulf hotel. But i dont know about the transportation to hotel from airport, and also abt the visa. STPC covers transportation between hotel and airport and your luggage will be booked for final destination. If you need it during layover then request them on your first leg while taking boarding pass

I assume that you would need to be in possession of it before going through immigration and then having access to the Gulf Airlines transfer desk for any further assistance required? How are details of the STPC received, is it confirmed via an email? Thanks.
With STPC your visa is confirmed… the mail is enough and mostly they will ask for your final destination visa… once you reach Bahrain, before immigration there’s a gulfair helpdesk and they will give you all the forms that needed to be shown at the immigration counter.

I presented flight information at the transit desk and was then given a piece of paper with hotel room details at Golden Tulip hotel. Went through passport control. Went to information counter at arrivals area of airport. Had to wait around 30 minutes with others for a mini-bus to take us to the Golden Tulip hotel. Got some well needed sleep, shower and some decent food before returning to airport some 15 hours later. All in all, a good experience.
These guys are cheeky clever bastards, they put my base fare as 10k and then rest 40k as taxes and they expect me to pay 80usd more for this. These ppl are a scam
40k as tax can’t be theie choice, it might be the rule or laws put by Russian govt for foreign companies. Many in the comment section has got free stpc flying from Uk and other places. You can check with them

Travel time from Airport to hotel will be 30-40min but the shuttle arriving for pickup might be late. You must contact them a month before if I suggest. Bahrain airport is relatively very less crowded so 3yr prior not required but good to have.

If you fulfill all the criteria listed in this video, STPC is free. To know it better, give them a call or send an email. They will revert back with all details. for 18hr long layover you will need a hotel I guess and meals. Given the condition of public transport, I will suggest buying STPC if not getting for free.

Its less likely you will qualify for free STPC, if you get it then yes you will get meals that falls between your connecting flights

Hi Unfortunately you can’t get it for free as there are other flights in between. But you can buy STPC for 80 or 100usd.

Hotel is until your next connecting flight and check the currency difference from google as it changes every now and then…
