Always better to include below to your Leh Ladakh Trip
1. If you planned the whole trip for X days, add 2 more days as a buffer. So total X+2 days (Any landslide or bad weather may spoil your trip)
2. Plan to stay 1 or 2 days in Leh, before visiting the places like Kardungla. It would help you in acclimatization (I saw some people struggling to breathe)
3. When we are planning a round trip, Chandighar-srinagar-leh-manali-Chandighar will be recommended, because on the Manali route, you will climb the high altitudes in no time.
The above points might help or may not, Just sharing my experiences. God Speed for all your future trips.
