It seems like yesterday when I was 19 years old and walking around the city listening to Crystal Castles, wearing fishnets and combat boots, eyes with smudged black eyeliner. so glad i’ve had this band for the last 3 years of my life, nobody else can create a sound that reminds me of living through teenage years
i discovered them in 2008, saw them LIVE in Hollywood, same night i met Kid Cudi, this was a few weeks before i met my brother Lil B The BasedGod, then i got signed to Sony Music Group about a year later, been a fan of the music ever since.

I have seen them live 3 times now all in 2012 2013 and two of those times alice on stage was FUBAR with very little stage presence. I have not seen Edith live but I would like to if I ever get a chance, again alice is and was never bad but personally I think I could tell that she always brought her demons with her on stage which is sad but also takes alot of courage.

I love the synth in this track along with the beat. The vocals are so haunting and enchanting.
I always seem to come back to AMNESTY. While II is still my favorite from the CC catalog, there is a definite anger and sadness to AMNESTY that really resonates with me, I think some of Ethan's best synth work came off this album.
As long as crystal castles still lives.... Im happy with either them. Im happy alice is still creating music and im happy edith does an awesome job. Keep coming out with awesome music!

Ethan is a genius, pure and simple. The instrumental backing on Baptism is phenomenal, easily my favourite, not to discount anything else. CC has released 3 amazing albums and with all the singles released so far, Amnesty will not disappoint. Huge respect for Alice and Edith, both great vocalists and performers.

Lsd + crystal castle is something else. This song and ‘ornament’ are very heavily layered, it sounded like the song was never repeating, it was life changing, it makes me sad that they aren’t making more music

If you think of it it's vibe has a very radiant feeling, it's like you can feel the song move you. Hearing the lyrics makes a better understanding as well, it may be something you can relate to, or something that doesn't relate but you can understand. You ever had a feeling where you someone have a problem but you can't do anything about it to help someone with that problem nor can themselves and you have shame fall on you because of that? That's the kinda vibes it's giving me, I can't tell if I'm explaining it right because it's hard for me to explain what I'm feeling, but hopefully this has a relation to whoever sees this.
