Very informative video with beautiful eye candy. You're so right about a Gold Birkin...it's really a stunning colour that needs no introduction. It's the most classic Hermes leather colour that pairs well with a lot. I also have all 3 colours and found that I wore my Etoupe Lindy 30 every day for a few months straight when I got it a few years ago. It's crazy but I realized that I've only taken my Etain B30 out once but I think it could be due to the RGHW which I've found difficult to pair with my wardrobe and sliver or gold jewellery. Palladium hardware would have probably been better but I got sucked into the RGHW hype I think. 🤷🏾♀️😂
I was shocked by the versatility of etoupe! I've turned down 2 B30s with RGHW for the very same reasons. It was very hard to turn down the etain but I'm getting so much use out of my B25 etoupe that I know that I made the right decision. The RGHW hype was real!!! I'd still love a bag with RGHW but it would have to be in a very small size as it would be relegated to being a summer bag. Thanks for watching!
Great video! Would love to see a comparison of the different Hermes leathers and color saturation. My favorite of the neutrals you presented is Gold followed by Etain. Thanks for taking the time to do such a thorough classic neutral comparison!
Just discovered this channel. One of the -rare - well produced informative video about Hermès’ neutral colours. Plus the French words are very well pronounced -even rarer on TH-cam - Bravo ! Don’t know if you’ve already done, but I’d love to see a comparison video about Hermès’ very light neutral colours : white, craie, parchemin, argile, béton, nata etc…
I appreciate this. Thanks so much! I can't pronounce words in French like I can in Spanish but at least I try, right!?. A for effort! 😂 I haven't made a video about the off/white colors yet because I haven't seen them all in person. However, since a bag in this color is high on my wishlist, I hope to make such as video in the future.
Thanks for making this video, I am a newbie to Hermes and will get my first Birkin very soon, I love both Etoupe and Gold with GHW❤️ Your bags are so beautiful!
Well done❣️Per usual, always enjoy your videos. Thank you. Super informative for someone like me trying to know more about Hermès. Gold color is definitely my favorite color when it comes to Hermès specifically Birkin or Kelly. Etoupe is 2nd and Etain is the last. Learned it the hard way with the GST in grey and silver. Love the color combo, but hardly use it. Looking forward for your comparison videos between B - B25 vs B30 or K25 vs K28 soon.😂🤣❤️❤️❤️
So many people have that same issue with the grey/silver combo. I actually use the etain kelly more than the gold birkin but I love the look of gold soooo much more!!! I wear a lot of white gold jewelry so it works for me. Thanks for watching!!!
Ohhh!!! When I see the Birkin25 and I know that I have one as well!!! I just feel so so happy!!! 😁 I find this video so interesting! Thank you for creating! I think of Etoupe as more beige as well!:)
This quad very helpful. I was surprised how different Etain looks in person than in photos. It sometimes looks almost like a green undertone in certain leathers. I really like the contrast stitching with Etoupe and Good in contrast to Etain and Black.
Definitely a leather type video! Since I have neutral bags already and Hermes does color well, I’m leaning toward color at this point … but also like grey and cream.
Etoupe is my most used and loved color. I have gold and black but find étoupe the best. All the alternatives you gave are great ! Quebeacho, chai , gris meyer , beige de Weimar are all very nice . But nothing compares to the classic Great video !
I love these classic colors! I have gold kelly and gris asphalte birkin and I hope to add an Etoupe bag in my collection in the future! Thank you for sharing!
This is so helpful! I have a 24/24 in gold and I absolutely love this color. I requested a Kelly Sellier in Etoupe and watching your video really set my idea in stone. I will tell my SA, I’ll wait whatever it takes to get it.
The video I have been looking for! Been trying to figure out my "ask" for a picton. I was so lucky to get a a gold with palladium and I love the gold so much. Debating etoupe or another color. Thank you!
I have no clue why they’re calling that color “gold” when it’s actually either caramel or honey depending on the leather. Gold is a yellowish shade. That color used to be called “saddle” but I can see where that might not fit a luxury bag. Even camel is more tan than that. The other is clearly taupe.
agree that etoupe and black are the most versatile of all the hermes classic colors - i have b25 in both these colors (etoupe in sellier, black in retourne) and i'm very happy with both of them. i would like to add a gold k25 in retourne to accompany my k28 in bleu encre. i'm back and forth on the mini kelly - i think the craze will die down someday and i wonder if i should wait till then as the pre spend is just thru the roof. luxury Q&A would be appreciated - thanks!
Great video! I have only one Hermes bag, an etoupe Evelyne, and I really like how versatile the color is. In the future I would love a malachite or anemone Picotin 18, but I'm assuming they are hard to come by. I also like the Gris Asphalt color too.
Gris asphalte is my favorite H grey. Picotins have become so much harder to get but for those seasonal colors, it's just about asking your SA when they are being produced and/or just being in the right place at the right time. Thanks for watching!
If you could make any changes or tweaks to your B/K collection, what would it be? It would be interesting to hear your thoughts given your experience, breadth of colors and sizes, and way you think about these bags … Thank you for this video. It is so informative, as always !
Hmmm that's a great question. Two things come to mind. For the color etain, I would probably have requested it in k25 or K32 retourne because I prefer etain in togo. Why not K28 retourne, you ask? Because for retourne Kellys, I either like small and cute so I can use cross body or big and slouchy for the nonchalant cool girl look. 😂 Also, In general, I would have requested Kellys before birkins because they are so much harder to get. Thanks for watching!
I'm looking for an Evelyne pm in neutral. I saw it in store in Gold and it looked dark reddish brown. They only had Bleu royal and vert jade. I'm really interested in Etoupe and have been wondering if it's more grey or beige. Also have you seen the vert de gris in personne ? Wonder if it's too green
You definitely need to see colors in person because depending on the batch, the undertones may be slightly different. For ex the color gold may appear more brown, orange or beige depending on the age of the hide and the dyeing process.
Missed this but finally catching up! You are SO right about Gris Etain and Etoupe. Especially Etoupe. Totally agree that Etoupe is more of a beige than a grey. As always your descriptions are spot on. Super informative! And I have to say you have the BEST neautral H collection. Do I see Craie or Nata in your future? 🥰🥰🥰
Best etoupe vs etain video on YT. thank you so much for your effort
Thanks so much. Glad you liked it!
Came across this video and I watched *yutulu* OMG your wardrobe is every woman’s dream! Love your voice and the way you speak
Love you videos and how informative these are. Thank you soooo much! Would love to see a comparison of a Birken 25 and 30. Loved your Kelly video.

Gold is sooo good! I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Classic leathers seems to be the popular choice. Thanks so much for watching!

Etain is quite the chameleon. Love contrast stitching too!

I'm at this point too!

Etoupe is shockingly versatile. The classics are so good!!! Thanks for watching.
I love this. I only own gold, etoupe and black Hermes bags! Thank you for your thoughts….so good!
Thanks for watching!
I love these classic colors! I have gold kelly and gris asphalte birkin and I hope to add an Etoupe bag in my collection in the future! Thank you for sharing!
Your gold kelly is stunning. I think that you will really enjoy etoupe. Thanks for watching!

Etoupe is so versatile!!!
Oh my goodness! what beauty!!!!! Your simply exquisite!!! The colors are perfect!!!
Thanks Babe! I can totally see you with a B30!!!
@@sococo1464 I claim that one day 💕💕💕💕💕
Haha! I love your comment on I would love a gold b35 if I can handle the weight!😂
It's my favorite size to look at! 🤎

I'm with you on the mini kelly ambivalence. I would love it nata but there are definitely bags that I would buy before. Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much for a very informative video!! I can listen to you all day! New subbie! :)
That's so nice! 😃 Thanks so much for your support!!!

It's shockingly versatile!
I heard Hermes is retiring Gris Etain and replacing it with Gris Meyer.
Yes, I made a note about this in my description. Hopefully not but we'll see. Thanks for watching!
All your colors are beautiful, Hermes colors are the best even in fun colors
Yes they are! Thanks for watching!
