You and Alex should keep making these podcasts together as a team and even start having other creators as guests and maybe even do things like interviews with the devs and other segments to keep expanding the podcast. I think you make a great team who's individual style and presentation compliment one another. Hell I could even see you both as co-announcers at some future SNAP tournaments/competitive games. I've been really enjoying the last couple.of these pod casts and have learned a lot from from many of the vids on both CozySnap as well as Alex's YT channels. Cant wait to see how the game develops as new cards, and even new mechanics, are introduced to the game so atm the future of SNAP looks very bright indeed imo (and itll look even better once I've pulled a lot more pool 3 cards sk I have a wider variety of options and tools to choose from when building my decks. Early pool 3 is a bit of a hellscape unless a player is insanely lucky and either pulls one of a handful of op/meta cards, ones that vastly improve early pool decks just by being added, or pull a combo of cards that have good synergy and work well together like Venom, Death and Deadpool)
I actually use Quicksilver in a very specific scenario: I have a Lockjaw/Jubilee deck. I don't have Wasp yet and I use Quicksilver instead. I never play him turn 1 of course, instead put him after Lockjaw. He is always in hand so he doesn't brick Jubilee/Lockjaw (as Wasp may) and he is good fodder for Lockjaw too. I know he slightly reduces the chance of getting Lockjaw by turn 3, but also reduces the chance of total bricks.
This man has a newborn bay and we still get such top level production damn I really hope your channels sky rockets in subscribers man you really deserve it
I tried to make an “aggro” deck with crystal. I ran like 9 one drops, Angela, crystal, and strong guy, the goal being to hand dump onto an Angela lane and then crystal on 4 to semi-guarantee strong guy. This worked, but it usually wasn’t enough power to actually win the lanes, plus killmonger absolutely clowned on it lmao.
I would say you should add in Armor and Kazar for the 1-drop focused deck for the protection and the anthem. Trouble is your hand starts to get heavier and heavier with cards like that.
Niche use case for Yellowjacket: he can put things at your target Cerebro power +1 down to your target Cerebro power, ideally used in Cerebro 2 decks I'd think so that he also gets the benefit.
That's what I do. Combo YellowJacket with Prof X or Blue Marvel so Cerebro will boost either of them with the rest of your Broods, Sinisters etc.. I thought it was a clever way of utilising him.

Another great video! I like how you said ongoing spectrum surprised people. I got a little tired of my move deck, been playing it for weeks, and decided to try out some new ones. Eventually landed on a draft for ongoing spectrum. It surprised the heck out of me. I literally said how am I winning with this lol. I still have some tweaks to make, and don't have the pool 3 additions, but I'm glad I have another option that seems consistent. Also, although im not as familiar with it, people don't retreat as much as they did vs my move deck.
I really don't understand why Ongoing decks are not a thing in pool 3. I'm nearly at Infinte with and I've only been playing for 2 weeks. All with an Ongoing deck and 490 collection level.
Yeeeahhhhh, I too am in the club of playing Hobgoblin into Cosmo, losing the game and realizing what I did. It can be easy to forget about the full effects of some of these tech cards and it takes about 1-2 games of it disrupting your plan before you edit the deck. 😂 This said, I may play more Cosmo, as now I’m into Pool 3 I’m seeing a lot of Wong. And it feels bad when the opponent just plays that out.
One potential buff for Crystal: at the moment, there’s a big downside that you can re-draw the same cards that you currently have in your hand, so she could be changed to draw DIFFERENT cards.

My card changes ideas: Quicksilver: 1 more power(1/3). Crystal: Draw 4 instead of 3. Yellowjacket: 1 less power(0/1), afflict all cards instead of yours. Rogue: 2 more power(3/3), 3 less power(3/0) on successful steal.
one rework idea i've seen for Crystal that i like is: for each card in the middle location, cost 1 less. So basically she's a 4/4 but if you have 4 cards in middle location then she's a 0/4. I think that's pretty awesome. Your thoughts ?
Only way I see that can make Crystal good is a shuffle mechanic that they could add later on. Something like if this card is shuffled (put from hand to deck) draw it and give it +2 power. Or if this card is put back into your deck from hand double its power. Than you can also add cards like Colleen or Sif like shuffle your highest cost card/lowest cost card.
About counter cards, I run Cosmo in my Destroyer deck, mainly because if I don't get Armor or Professor X to protect my board, Cosmo shut down my Destroyer. But man Cosmo get some instant retreat from the opponents, once I played him after the enemy dropped Wong in a location, the guy left right away. Pretty diabolical of me, but it worked.
You two are fantastic and loved the segment on worst cards. I must admit I do run Crystal just for leveling the card. And I must agree with Alex it is beneficial to sometimes play her in the left or right lane.
I use quicksilver in my discard deck so there’s always something to toss. Also honorable mention; using ebony maw and not playing it. Good Hela food for late game 👍🏼

I soooo wish i watched this vid before today!!! I was feeling quite happy with myself as id got half a dozen decent pool 3 cards & had reached Rank 52 by the end of last night. After playing for a bit today id dropped down to Rank 45, ALL due to coming up against Pool 3 players/decks & not having a clue about what they did!!! I thought i had to change decks , which led to more problems. Im off now to search for vids about Pool 3 combos & plays!!
I play quicksilver and a 1 drop at the same time on turn 2 to essentially convert said 1 drop into a 2 drop. This makes it less likely to waste the teleport of nightcrawler, and increases the consistency of playing a demon on turn 6, which is useful to me because my deck has 3 5 drops and no 6 drops. I only play quicksilver on turn 1 if I have 3 1 drops or Angela in my opening hand (she is the only 2 drop in my deck).
Yellowjacket + Carnage is actually great value because you can get the 2 power for free with no penalty and no spaces taken up. Easiest way to get a +6 Carnage on turn 3, outside of Wasp.
Maybe in the future there will be a cycle archetype around shuffling your hand into your deck and drawing. Then crystal may see some play. Theory - gain +1 power for each card you draw. Cards like that is what I'm thinking
I think an interesting way to change Crystal is making her maybe make her affect both players and change her stats to better reflect and balance the ability...maybe a 5-cost 3 power?
2 counter cards per deck is usually enough for me. I basically always run cosmo and if I feel like he’ll become a problem later (certain locations etc) I just won’t play him. When I run him with armor it’s often to have two options to protect a dinosaur, but in some decks I go for enchantress to have a counter to on reveal and ongoing! I don’t have rogue otherwise I would run her with Cosmo in an ongoing deck

Unless he was designed to be somehow thrown on the other side or they have some kind of card out there that works well with him that's not in the game yet. Make Yellow shrink the next card down in your location making it invincible until the end of the game or a turn. Sacrifice a spot for saving a card from shang chi or gambit or whatever. I'm looking forward to a deflect card. Just protects the cards in your location from like 1 attack sending it back into the opponent as it's ongoing and 1 cost card, but it doesn't protect the card itself. Electra and Killmonger are effective against it, but Shang Chi just kills himself.
Watching this and playing Snap at the same time. Currently playing Quicksilver and Domino lol. I put them in my Jubilee deck. I'm sure there will be more decks in the future where you dont want your high cost in your hand during the first half of the game

When I get into pool 3 its like a trap, most battle my enemies got counters for my decks. Lucky I got my momentum on GoG control deck. Now I'm struggling because fighting higher rank players.
I pulled Crystal in my first 5 pool 3 cards sadly and then got Yellow Jacket and Wasp back to back later on, Wasp I just need like LockJaw or Patriot for but Yellow jacket... Maybe a card to swap with Viper to the other side the field but Yehhhh he seem very bad.
You should do Snap Drafts VS and Snap Draft Team Likes Team Tuesdays and VS Thursdays where you do the draft and you play like 3-4 games and see who wins. Idk what the stakes would be but could be a big collaboration tool. Secondly, an interesting topic that I’ve been thinking about is whether the climb to infinite is possible for casual players. I’ve been feeling a little down trodden as a casual dolphin player on whether I can ever make the climb to infinite or not.

My first 2 pulls in pool 3 were jane foster, literally useless as every 0 cost card is also in pool 3, and colleen wing who idk if she's good, but doesn't feel great. I'm really disappointed that I finally reached the infinite potential, and then pull useless garbage instead of cool and interesting build arounds.
What if you play Crystal in a discard deck. And you shuffle your empty hand to get 3 cards with her. One more way to get Hela maybe ? Definitely niche, but might be better in the future.
Cozy, Alex. Y'all are sleeping on Crystal! Throw her into your lockjaw and casino decks. I keep drawing Ifinaut, as well as all my high cost cards that I want Jubilee and Lockjaw to pull out for me. Crystal puts those cards back into the deck.

I actually pulled yellow jacket yesterday but atleast i took the trash out early in pool 3 lol. Cant complain thoguh also pulled wong, aero, magneto, and mystique and Human Torch so my my early pulls have been relatively good.
I played a Shang Chi on a double Your card to another location - location, and my opponent played an infinaut at the same Location and my Shang Chi did nothing. Does anyone know why?
I agree crystal is not great, but ppl play her wrong. She is disruption. Deadpool, kitty pryde. Devil dino. Swarm. Reduce your opponents handsome and have the chance of putting cards into the when they need their hand.

Yellow Jacket can fit into a Celebro 2 deck, but outside of that it has limited niche use.
quicksilver should be 1/0 but has similar effect with agatha (added draw instead of changing your draw). same with domino but shes a 2/1 instead
if only quick then maybe but if domino as well then dino/ combo deck will be too good

When I get into pool 3 its like a trap, most battle my enemies got counters for my decks. Lucky I got my momentum on GoG control deck. Now I'm struggling because fighting higher rank players.

I pulled Crystal in my first 5 pool 3 cards sadly and then got Yellow Jacket and Wasp back to back later on, Wasp I just need like LockJaw or Patriot for but Yellow jacket... Maybe a card to swap with Viper to the other side the field but Yehhhh he seem very bad.
No love fore Goose? She has made my Patriot deck solid. Helped carry me to 90 from 59.

You should do Snap Drafts VS and Snap Draft Team
Likes Team Tuesdays and VS Thursdays where you do the draft and you play like 3-4 games and see who wins. Idk what the stakes would be but could be a big collaboration tool.
Secondly, an interesting topic that I’ve been thinking about is whether the climb to infinite is possible for casual players. I’ve been feeling a little down trodden as a casual dolphin player on whether I can ever make the climb to infinite or not.

early pool 3 is literally the worst experience in any card game you could have :S
Could Yellowjacket be useful for the location that you win with the least power? Very niche but could be nice for that
It's only -1 power there best case scenario. The hood dunks in that location so much harder
My first 2 pulls in pool 3 were jane foster, literally useless as every 0 cost card is also in pool 3, and colleen wing who idk if she's good, but doesn't feel great. I'm really disappointed that I finally reached the infinite potential, and then pull useless garbage instead of cool and interesting build arounds.
I just unlocked my first pool 3 card (wasp). Using an ongoing deck and rank 91. Hopefully get to Infinte soon.
I use Yellowjacket in my discard deck. It lets me get cards out of my hand so that my discards can hit the correct targets.
What if crystal was changed to discard your hand would this be balanced

What if you play Crystal in a discard deck. And you shuffle your empty hand to get 3 cards with her. One more way to get Hela maybe ? Definitely niche, but might be better in the future.

Cozy, Alex. Y'all are sleeping on Crystal! Throw her into your lockjaw and casino decks. I keep drawing Ifinaut, as well as all my high cost cards that I want Jubilee and Lockjaw to pull out for me. Crystal puts those cards back into the deck.
So just want to know, how good are death, aero, arnim zola, Thor and daredevil for early draws?

I actually pulled yellow jacket yesterday but atleast i took the trash out early in pool 3 lol. Cant complain thoguh also pulled wong, aero, magneto, and mystique and Human Torch so my my early pulls have been relatively good.
Yellowjacket at 0/3 would be too good, which is why this game is silly because one inch in any direction for man cards is too much.
Crystal would be helpful for bad draws in a lockjaw deck but needs to be 3 energy

I played a Shang Chi on a double Your card to another location - location, and my opponent played an infinaut at the same Location and my Shang Chi did nothing. Does anyone know why?
I agree crystal is not great, but ppl play her wrong. She is disruption. Deadpool, kitty pryde. Devil dino. Swarm. Reduce your opponents handsome and have the chance of putting cards into the when they need their hand.
