Ive always liked the idea of rolling with an Automatic rifleman, a marksman, a grenadier, and a guy with extra meds and supplies for the squad. Can’t wait for wounded condition and possibility of revive later in development. These videos are sick.
Happy to join the squad as the role needed, I’d say I’m best at marksman roles, I completed Sbih in 1 raid on 3 maps this wipe and Tarkov shooter 8 first try. However AR is very fun too so I won’t complain.
I love this type of content, but a Tarky logistics question for Karma: what type and how much ammo are your Auto Rifleman packing? It seems like you'd run out of either bullets or money very fast using the traditional higher pen rounds.
Yeah right? But thats the thing: Why would you use high pen rounds in 100 rounder belts? Lets think about it for a sec. Tarkov players are obsessed with AP ammo, because the gameplay loop of the avg person or streamer is portrayed as "ill outdamage him faster than he can". You dont need to do this here - it isnt the point! The point is making sure the target thinks "if i peek, i die", and then hosing him down as a TEAM, and not solo. Therefore not everyone needs a bucketload of AP.
So cool to see Tarkov being played tactically like that. Nonstop firing is absolutely terrifying and I bet it plays a huge role in mental pressure as well.
I wish more squads played like this on Tarkov. Imagine the shootouts. Only issue with this is the ammo cost, y’all burning thru mags when you suppress.
Since the armor rework and the fact that low tier ammo is now extremely deadly, you can load up the AR/LMG on budget ammo and just let it rip. The job isn't to kill the enemy, though it's great if it happens. It's to keep the enemy from pushing up/shooting back or having them break off entirely. It also helps if everyone is using the same ammo type.
Your last video like this and this one made me wish Tarkov had healing teammates implemented. I see that as the last big wall to being able to build a squad with dedicated roles and SOPs to throw down in this game
Yep. And being able to drag/teammates. That would require some kinda revive system (which is problematic balance wise for solos vs squads) but would be huge.
That's one of the things that Star Citizen has nailed down -- dragging and healing teammates and still being able to use a sidearm while doing so. But I wish Star Citizen had more of Tarkov's tactical mechanics like blind-firing and the different types of ammos and grenades. Both games are very similar when it comes to combat mechanics but still lack what the other has to truly make them epic. The good part is that at least they're both moving int he right direction and adding more content from each other.
@@laserbidetI mean it IS designed to be a squad based game but not required so having a revive system wouldn’t be completely unfair especially since it’s probably gonna be a super long revive

Loving the AR loadout and squad SOP content in EFT! Would love to see one guy in the squad run a PKM while another 1-2 run RPKs. Could have an MG team with one GPMG and one AR and one manuever team with grenadier, SL (could also be a DM with an SPR), and another RPK for the third man of team two
This just reminds me of the way people used to play tarkov when it was considered a tactical shooter. But inevitably, the community just decided they prefer more run n gun mindless gameplay. I prefer to see real tactics like this
Another cool showcase on what games COULD be if people spent SOME amount of time into getting that teamwork game going. That said, there are a few things that id consider too leaning into cosplay-sim than actual effective milsim. Disclaimer before i point em out: Remember that its SUPER difficult to get a good cohesive team together. What they are doing here is stellar in comparison to the avg "team" (group of solos) you see out there. So my observations/criticism: INEFFECTIVE COMMS. Everyone knows where (most of the time ofc), but noone knows who/how many/what threats we expecting, aka no intel gathering on the enemy. STANDING IN A FATAL FUNNEL. The skybridge in the first firefight is a deathtrap, you dont just sit in there chilling. More emphasis on dominating strongpoints and pushing thru fatal funnels would be nice. TOO MUCH UNNECESSARY SHOOTING. Clearance by fire and suppression, absolutely, but not magdumping. Trigger discipline can save you ammo, weapon durability and a reload, therefore keeping you in the fight for longer. TOO MANY FRAGS. Yes ofc frags are cheaper than a death by face-checking, but there comes a time where ammo/equipment conservation is important. But ammo conservation is not the biggest issue tbh. Its about the amount of noise footprint you leave, its about the slowdown that comes with having to do this every room. STUCK WITHOUT A PLAN. Like in the camper situation, fragging out without a reason -pushing/repositioning/dislodging- is just wasted gear. The guy behind the door was a lucky coincidence, but that would have been a GOOD grenade to check out if theres anyone behind it, for example. All of that will end up with people clapping you a lot more NOT BECAUSE of "gamer skill", but because you are setting yourself up for failure because this ISNT a conventional force on force, its a SERE/Guerrilla/Spec ops/insurgent/Jungle(without the jungle) warfare, and you cant get bogged down every corner WITHOUT reasonable need. Again, all of that said, its incredible content and i hope you do a lot more! But these points would be nice if addressed/trained on. Also would be nice to see an SOP breakdown video, would be interesting to see whats cool/different about your setup. TL;DR; Cool shit, but lots of cosplay in a various moments.
Completely agreed! I honestly cringed a bit when he said SOPs in Tarkov but good teamwork and tactics can work. One thing that people fail to consider when "milsiming" is that we are playing a game and the most realistic tactic is not always the best tactic. A more realistic way to play would be within the confines of the game. However real tactics and stuff do work and are a good foundation to build on. Also sucks that this game has no real suppression besides gear fear/death fear.
After watching I think they wasted a TON of supplies when they didn't need too, they also didn't capitalize on much and just wasted even more kit. It would have also helped if they were all somewhat experienced Tarkov players.
@@king124kine Yeah, as i mentioned in the initial post above. Teamwork is king, but you also need to work out what your environment is and the considerations that come with it. They did just fine, but they need to improve on equipment conservation and coordination. BUT THAT SAID, again, they are doing something most "groups" cant even think of. They are playing as a team, and doing well enough, JUST BY employing tactics, instead of just relying on stale meta's.
@@zzzxxc1 Yup, and all of that are things coming from solo gameplay, throughout their gaming "career", across different games. And thats why i cant emphasize enough that what they are doing here is super rare and awesome, despite the mentioned problems.
Man i cant wait to experience this game, It would be such an adrenaline fueled engagement coming across a squad like you guys and trying to survive haha!
This is the Tarkov content I crave. Real life tactics used in a game dedicated to "realism", but its still not expected for you to use real squad tactics like in "red v blue" shooters.
at 16:58 you can barely see him peak the door right in front of you, but the holo is obstructing it. That man panicked and shot right away thinking you were aiming at him apparently.
Now i kinda wanna see an update for Tarkov that brings a new condition to heavily wounded PMC's - "downed", so you don't just die, but have some amount of time to be revived by morphine and some other meds/injectors. Unless you get hit to the head or neck ofc, then you're just KIA/200, like in Hell Let Loose. That would definitely help and playing in squads will be even better as you'll have some time to bring your "dead" buddy back.
CQB needs some serious work. Cool vid though. Me and my buddies are all trained or x/active mil in specialized units for CQC. Real, proper tactics absolutely work in the game against people. It's so satisfying. We use suppression as well but in more specific ways. Nice work on the most part, didnt mean for any hate, just wanted to point out the "IRL CQC being a problem against players". It isn't if it's done correctly. Only hang up we get is some of the movement or lack of on some things. VOA always works in Tarky, and its great. We take it pretty deliberate though
it seems fun but hard to get a team that is consistently online at the same time, has good teamwork on a sidenote: frequent magrdrops, and tons of granades are costly, take up inventory and weigh you down (also u had 5.56 spare ammo in d2 extract clip while using 5.45 rpk)
I don't know if you, Karma even read the comments But, I first found you on a Tarkov video and I've been watching All your content since....I bought Arma way back in hopes of one day being able to play with your team, but my hands have gotten worse and so That's never going to happen.....so Keep making all the Great content...Tarkov, Door Kickers, Arma, ALL of it is Absolutely Awesome !!!
Finally, someone is playing tarkov as intended. So many people play like it's an arcade shooter, jumping around all over the place. I wish I could join in. Or find a squad to play other stuff with, but properly.
How cool would it be to hear CQB communication through in game VOIP while you're in contact with that squad. Unfortunately there isn't really working fix for players cheesing Discord and calling out locations after being killed.
well irl there isnt really any fear and you can degrade cover so some tactics wont work irl if you hammer a wall with 5.56 it will eventually crumble same for grenades
I like what your doing. Most people are not disciplined enough to work as a trained team. Even in your videos there is room for improvements. But so far, you leading the squad play. Whats your teams average K/D and Survival ratio?
Me: "Getting suppressed by a group of five dudes down a hallway" Also Me: "Throws a grenade in their general direction, then bolts as it explodes.* CQB is awesome, until you're playing against a guy who's willing to tank PS bullets to get a grenade out because I'm armored up like an armadillo. This is why as a solo, you always bring one stun, and two grenades.
When you are playing with an AR do you care about what ammo type you are using? or is that something you can "cheap out" on, since you gain so much from the constant suppression and fire superiority

Loving the AR loadout and squad SOP content in EFT! Would love to see one guy in the squad run a PKM while another 1-2 run RPKs. Could have an MG team with one GPMG and one AR and one manuever team with grenadier, SL (could also be a DM with an SPR), and another RPK for the third man of team two
That first gun fight. Non stop suppressive fire! love it fellas!
This just reminds me of the way people used to play tarkov when it was considered a tactical shooter. But inevitably, the community just decided they prefer more run n gun mindless gameplay. I prefer to see real tactics like this
Streamers and the marketing they did for the game.
GREAT that they gave it fame, shame that it was introduced to the wrong crowd.
I really can't think of a time Tarkov was ever played like this.
In 2017 it was *more* like this cause most people who played came from arma and such but never really fully like this, no. @@thewisewolf768
not everybody have 5 friends lol
Finally somebody who gets it. People complain about the state of the game but don't realize it started with the drops man.@@UEemperor
To go tactical is the coolest thing there is in Tarkov, nobody expects that. Im lovin it!
Another cool showcase on what games COULD be if people spent SOME amount of time into getting that teamwork game going.
That said, there are a few things that id consider too leaning into cosplay-sim than actual effective milsim.
Disclaimer before i point em out:
Remember that its SUPER difficult to get a good cohesive team together. What they are doing here is stellar in comparison to the avg "team" (group of solos) you see out there.
So my observations/criticism:
INEFFECTIVE COMMS.

Yeah, as i mentioned in the initial post above.
I think the worst part was during that glass bridge thing part where the lead guy strafes back and forth across his team's lines of fire
@@zzzxxc1
Yup, and all of that are things coming from solo gameplay, throughout their gaming "career", across different games.
And thats why i cant emphasize enough that what they are doing here is super rare and awesome, despite the mentioned problems.
splendid video, Karmakut!
Man i cant wait to experience this game, It would be such an adrenaline fueled engagement coming across a squad like you guys and trying to survive haha!
I think this is how Nikita imagined fights in this game.
This dude is acting like he fighting a real war in Tarkov lol
I love this question answer format
the comms and gameplay is insane wish I had buddies to play with still this looks fun
pretty cool i use the tactical teammate leg shots and run to the loot spots while they heal
As a Baikai Ultima user, i'm terrified of facing a group like this.
Really fun to watch these videos
Why doesnt Controlled Pairs play Tarkov with you all? I would love to see Controlled Pairs in on these.
-jam jam jam
-i got you im watching front.. nevermind im down to 1 frame"
bro streets on nutshell 🤣🤣🤣
done this plenty of time with a maneuver team. works well
This is the Tarkov content I crave.
Good eye, I couldn't figure out where he was and if he was behind the door that whole time until I read this.
I THINK YOU KILLED ME HAHA
Now i kinda wanna see an update for Tarkov that brings a new condition to heavily wounded PMC's - "downed", so you don't just die, but have some amount of time to be revived by morphine and some other meds/injectors. Unless you get hit to the head or neck ofc, then you're just KIA/200, like in Hell Let Loose. That would definitely help and playing in squads will be even better as you'll have some time to bring your "dead" buddy back.
The tactics combined with multiple camera perspectives is a real treat to watch. B)
The EXTERMINATORS in D2!!!
I wanna try running smokes, that's hilarious. Good video Karma
wish my friends would play like this. absolute savagery. love your videos karma
you should give this a revisit now that theyve added functional bipods and additional lmgs to tarkov
Playing the way it should be played, love it
CQB needs some serious work.
I hope snow never leaves tarkov is suits it so well
That was a sick spot behind that door.
it seems fun but hard to get a team that is consistently online at the same time, has good teamwork
on a sidenote: frequent magrdrops, and tons of granades are costly, take up inventory and weigh you down (also u had 5.56 spare ammo in d2 extract clip while using 5.45 rpk)
Bro I love how u guys play. Hope to one day finda squad that does the same
Finally, someone is playing tarkov as intended.
Destruction is huge
Theres no fear IRL?
sorry i think i ment in game@@shawnfoogle920
@@shawnfoogle920 LOL
Great job there. Amazing to observe it
these fire fights look exactly like the ones in the Tarkov series on youtube
1:52 haha where did you get this clip? :D this if from my dude putting down hemvärnet
Insanely good Video
Awesome video keep it up
I like what your doing. Most people are not disciplined enough to work as a trained team. Even in your videos there is room for improvements. But so far, you leading the squad play. Whats your teams average K/D and Survival ratio?
Me: "Getting suppressed by a group of five dudes down a hallway"
Also Me: "Throws a grenade in their general direction, then bolts as it explodes.*
CQB is awesome, until you're playing against a guy who's willing to tank PS bullets to get a grenade out because I'm armored up like an armadillo. This is why as a solo, you always bring one stun, and two grenades.
I'd like to ask that when you added text to the bottom explaining your thoughts, that you used maybe a bright yellow font so it wasnt as easy to miss.
most people dont even know that smokes exist in this game, but i love it. usually confuses the shit out of people.
I wish fire extinguishers on walls created a cloud when shot. It wouldn't be entirely useful but it could come in handy
If you want to try some tactics without dealing with pixel peakers or banana man, you can try STP
When you are playing with an AR do you care about what ammo type you are using? or is that something you can "cheap out" on, since you gain so much from the constant suppression and fire superiority
love that you showed how bad the squad recoil has become.
