OMGGG!!! What can I say other than HOW COOL is that explosion of your NW?? Now you aren't dragged down its truly incredible what you can do . I'm SO EXCITED to see this next chapter of your growth of instead of being CHARGED interest you get to HARNESS interest .
They don't say to STOP investing in the 401k at the match limit. You just want to go back to it once you max out that Roth IRA. :) Great job, by the way!
New sub! Ur occ therapist? Im a dietitian I work a lot with occupational therapist in the nursing home. Well, I recently retired from being a dietitian at 40 because I couldn’t take it anymore being debt-free really helped!!!!!!
New here 😊 huge congrats to you for getting all of that debt paid off! We’re working on paying off my husband’s student loans. He unfortunately has even more than you did, but we’re making progress 🎉 Hitting your first 100K is so exciting! It should increase quickly from here on out.
Congratulations of becoming debt free. It's the best thing. Because we reduced expenses as a part of our debt free journey, we now have (in dollars) more to save and invest per month than we had in debt payments, which is, as you have no doubt noticed.
I do my net worth month;y. I use the purchase price of the house plus any major upgrades. I am super conservative and believe that I could at least sell the house for the purchase price. I too hit 100k net worth this year as well!!
@@mttfinance Ok. I also have a 3%. I did a 20 year which is somewhat regret, but whatever. With that in mind, I would recommend paying the minimum and just build up other assets. They will grow so much faster than your mortgage will get paid down, and offer you more utility potential. I am at the point where we have slightly more cash + brokerage balances than our mortgage but I have no intention of paying it off early. My two cents. It's nice to have more in your investments than your mortgage balance. And then see that gap get wider and wider.
Paying off student loans instead of putting it in the S&P/retirement is a huge mistake. You missed out on a minimum of $50,000 unless your student loan interest rates were through the roof.

That's right! It's fun to get to use interest to benefit me rather than having to pay it.
Congrats! 100k to 300k will be quicker then 1 million is around the corner
That's right! It's exciting to see these numbers rise!

Congrats
It might not be a good idea count your primary residence as your net worth
Congrats on your journey! What’s your 401k employer match? Is it more than 5%?
What model & year is your vehicle?
Great how Old are you? You seem so young

Woohoo🎉 Congratulations. ❤ seeing Milo😊 Will you ever show your combined assets w/ your wife
I could. It would only include adding her 2009 vehicle though so there wouldn't be a big change to the numbers. She has no debt.
🪦
Congratulations!!!
Thank you so much 😀
