Yeah that’s what I think aye, the car actually did have a AirTag inside, it was in my wallet though so when the thieves rifled through my wallet they chucked the tag out too lol, but in the future the AirTag will be hidden better learnt my lesson there 🥲
i remember about 13 years ago i clocked out of my serving shift at applebees and watched my JDM h22 Prelude drive off in front of me. got it back totalled 2 weeks later, no insurance. sorry for your loss. one thing the theives cant steal is your youth, you got plenty of time to build more cars. best of luck

Yeah mate same thing happened to me gave the police everything they needed on a silver plate and they did nothing the guy managed to sell it a week later before the police did anything about it. Luckily I managed to track it down two weeks later but even now with all the information they’re doing next to nothing to punish the guy who stole it even though he’s literally the registered owner of the fake plates he put on it. Love the builds though bro im in the same boat where its really unmotivating to pickup another project if its gonna be taken from you but so glad i did. For me getting a 4wd project afterwards was a good shout as even if someone stole it the insurance value on them is pretty good so feels a bit safer money wise. Look forward to the next projects bro a 4wd would be different but interessting tho😊

Unfortunately I would think they have definitely been watching your channel. I recognised some areas you were in and the gas station you were at when it wouldn't start and sadly they've searched a bit more and found where you live. Keep an eye out for EGs with shitty painted TEs because they won't leave them bronze, they'll spray them. So if you spot them then check for the seats and the headliner. This shit sucks man. All my cars have basic but effective kill switches in them, just a hidden switch on a wire to the fuel pump will save them from being driven away. If they can't start them quickly it's likely they'll bail.

I would of just parked the car I was waiting in and grabbed the civic and hid it somewhere so the thieves couldn't find it when they came back for it. then I would have parked the car beside it and called a friend to help me get both cars.
