@Darwin's Puppeteer I always been a Chevy guy but I got a 06 F150 supercab 5.4L Fx4 And I love it.the interior was way before its time.the exterior is awesome and still looks good to this day!
I've always been a fan of Ford until recently. In 2006, I bought a brand new loaded F-150 Lariat for $41,000. I pay it off in July, but I don't think it'd last that long. It leaks oil, going to need a new fuel pump soon, needs a new power steering pump, the transmission slips, it recently developed a very rough idle, when turning/accelorating you get a shaky feeling from the rear end. It has about 120k miles now. I'm trading it off for a 2013 Honda CR-V next week. Very disppointed in Ford.
I have an 04 f-150 that been souped after i fixed the factory flaws such as front rotors and replaced the trans. at 90k when the o.d. went out now i have an 9 inch rear end drag radials donaldson powercore system on the new 6.8 Crow&Johnson 650hp engine with blendright headers and magnaflow exhaust runs on pump ga and will do 10.50 all day long, you should see the kids in there vettes beamers and imports when they hear me pull along side its really funny.
my 1st truck im buying when moving to ohio from australia its cheap to live and buy cars ,homes in usa australia is too expensive to live in oz this f150 costs $25,000 IN MELBOURNE AU
The RangersEdge Aww that's actually one of my favorite year models. I haven't done a whole lot of work on those. The only thing I've done was change spark plugs. Except I never changed the ones on the last two cylinders.
I ain't gonna agree or hate cause im a ford guy but lots of people dont like the triton so i see were ur commin from the 5.4 is the better of the 2 which is 4.6 but really people only have spark plug issues otherwise they last a long time
Just love these trucks! So simple and durable! 🙂👍
@jaydon1588 Not really, this is the worst F-150 generation ever.
2004-2008 was an alright generation. They’re childhood to me along with the 1997-2003 generation
I own and grew up riding in a 2006 Ford F-150, so they are definitely sentimental to me.
@whyme3772 It was the worst generation of these trucks.
@@2H2521let me guess, the 5.4 3v triton?
@@lestatlunar Obviously & they were just far weaker than the generation before it.
I'm a Chevy guy, but this is my favorite generation of modern F-150s.
C1500 Chebby They're pretty nice. Hoping to get one for my first truck!

@C1500 Chebby It’s the most unreliable F-150 generation by far.

The only thing ford changed with the 2009 was the break and head lights and the grill
metersocket00 and the gauges
@metersocket00 And those were far better trucks too.
I used to hate the way those trucks looked, I just thought they were ugly but now the looks are starting to grow on me
Same here

@@austinwilliamson2920 I have a 1997 Ford Ranger.
What is the difference between the 2004 and 2006 ford f-150s mine has the 4.6 l. v8 two-wheel drive.

I wouldn’t even be 1 year old when this video was uploaded. I’m 13

Worst F-150 generation ever, significant downgrade from the previous ones.
this video is pretty rare to me
@James Hackman my dad has an 05
I have a 2006 but her in Mexico they are called LOBO and not f150.
Dude yes they are lol.
Diego García pretty sure lobo was a special edition 2wd..
Google Ford Lobo 2006 and look at the images and tell me what you see.
Diego García buddy theres over 10 in alberta canada that i know of

Lol yea, it's dead.. xD
I would have plowed that thing in the snow
@saabkyle04 my dad has a truck identical to that his is an 04 though
(I sense hate mail) this is my least favorite year model
My least favorite is the one before it (97-03). The 4.6 was a pain to work on and they started making parts to make it look like a Raptor in 04.
