Here's an FAQ for people in regards to this commentary.
*Q:* Why did it take so long for you to make this commentary?
*A:* To put it as simply as possible, real life stuff, complications, and a corrupt project due to a hard drive failure (causing me to start all over again, and I was almost done!). I tried to keep people updated using such notices in my videos, but I never stood true to them because of this. I apologise that I didn't send any proper updates; life can really do you in sometimes.
*Q:* Do you think Jay's post could've been stopped if you made the post first, and then talked to your friend?
*A:* Not really. He likely would've made a post saying something like "I know who is responsible for making people stop these commentaries! It's @mjthespirit!", which probably would've resulted in the same fate. Then again, I didn't know he was gonna make the post that's present in the commentary, anyway.
*Q:* Do you at least remember the original description of Brendan's rant on GA haters?
*A:* I think it's something under the lines of "Credit To Everyone! Because Of The GoAnimate Haters BS, Comments Are Disabled". It's meant to be in title case, and he also disabled the ratings alongside the comments. He privated the rant itself in 2020 but that didn't stop people from making GA-styled commentaries on it, proving that people don't know when to let go of the past. Remember; he was 10+ years younger when he made that, and he was around 14 to 15 years of age at the time.
*Q:* Did you even watch any of the slanderous rants made of you?
*A:* To be honest, I didn't. The reason why I didn't is because they tend to propagate problems while making them sound more important than they are, when in reality, they're trivial and they're normally the result of conclusion jumping. I already knew what to expect without even watching the video, and the comments would likely say "deserved" blindly without even getting my side of the story. This is my message, by the way: Please don't make any GoAnimate-styled commentaries on these slanderous rants; it's not worth it.
*Q:* The timer in Sonic Heroes appeared to be faster than in real life! Why is this the case?
*A:* This is from the PAL version of the game, which has 60hz support. However, due to a bug/developer oversight, 60hz just takes the game's regular speed and increases it by 20%. As a result, one real-life second results in the in-game timer displaying ~1.20 seconds. This bug doesn't occur in the PAL GameCube version of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, but it does have a similar one where playing on 50hz causes certain button inputs to be registered as two presses instead of one. All three games shown in the video are from the PAL version (including the PS3 port of SA2).
*Q:* Why did one of the Koopa Kids say "Mini Bowsers' rage"?
*A:* This is from the PAL version of Mario Party 6. All instances (except one) of "Koopa Kid" have been replaced with "Mini Bowser", including the graphic that pops up when it's his turn in Solo/Party Mode (shows "Go, Mini Bowser!" instead). The Battle mini-game spaces have an uppercase B in NTSC versions; PAL replaces this letter with a lightning bolt that looks similar to Mario Party 2's Battle space.
*Q:* Are there any extra problems of GA-styled commentaries and approvals that you couldn't add in the video?
*A:* Of course. Below this pinned comment is a reply containing the problems that I found which I couldn't add in the video, either because I was unaware of them at the time of me making this or because I couldn't find a good spot to put them as the commentary was being made. Note that some of them may be similar points to add extra information.
*Q:* Did you intentionally make the thumbnail have that red X like those "interrupt" clips that the GA-styled commentaries use?
*A:* Of course. Only difference is that it doesn't cover up everything and that it doesn't have a green outline around it due to lackluster green screen adjusting. I would've made the X thicker but then you wouldn't be able to see parts of the background very well.
*Q:* How did you manage to play as Sonic in the Security Hall stage? Shouldn't Rouge play this instead?
*A:* This is from using the Chao Key glitch, which is a glitch present in all versions of Sonic Adventure 2 (except mostly Dreamcast) where the game initiates a wrong warp to the 2nd stage that you play in a best-of-3 match in 2P mode. It's done by picking up the key before the game properly initialises it in the top-left corner, where it becomes a Chao head in the HUD. The glitch was found in the HD ports of the game, but it works in limited degrees in the GameCube version as well. The game footage shows me playing Dry Lagoon as the first match and Security Hall as the second, and performing the CKG there using Crazy Gadget's CKG method causes Sonic to be in Security Hall. Obviously, Sonic isn't meant to play this stage hence why he doesn't start where Rouge usually starts, and there are various differences when it comes to playing as characters that aren't meant to be playable in certain stages. For example, there are no treasure items to pick up, the goal ring is where the back ring would be in mission 2 (normally appears when you get hit), and all the hint monitors will just display "NoText" when you activate them. They don't show up in the pause menu, either. Note that CKG warping to certain stages or touching stage elements that aren't meant to be usable by unintended characters (such as Tails or Eggman using a rocket to get to higher ground) may crash the game. Grind Race is a 2P stage that crashes the game when it loads with all characters, missions and versions of the game, unless playing on an emulator. However, Downtown Race works just fine (unless playing as Knuckles or Rouge), but you'll always get an E-Rank when you complete it due to there being no rank requirements set for the stage, and there's no music. The CKG persists until you get a Game Over, if you exit the stage from the pause menu or if you reset the game. For more information, check out this video: th-cam.com/video/P9Zi7V9uJGw/w-d-xo.html
    ~Original pinned comment~
This commentary is long overdue, but at least it's finished now. Before you say that I'm responsible for starting the hatebase of GoAnimate-styled commentaries and approvals or before you say "I ain't reading/watching allat", I'm not responsible for this "hatebase" you speak of. I just gave out an opinion towards a controversial subject and it resulted in a certain someone taking it personally to where people made a random assumption without digging deeper. In order to find out who this person is, you'll have to wait until the premiere's runnin'. And, think about this logically: If it's not a problem to give out an opinion on GA-styled rants and salutes, then why is it a problem to give out an opinion on GA-styled commentaries and approvals? 🤔

List of extra GA-styled commentary/approval problems:
      • *_Complaining that the video is in low quality and you can't hear it_*
This is a frequent problem that I see with these GA-styled commentaries and approvals. Instead of using their editing software to increase the volume of the video that they're "commentating" on or "approving" of, they complain about the low volume/quality without doing anything about it. Even I may be tempted to increase the volume of these videos but sometimes I don't bother because of the commentaries adding copyrighted clips at max volume that could blow the speakers and everyone's eardrums from a 5-mile radius.
      Example: th-cam.com/video/CkmREw8Z_bg/w-d-xo.html
      • *_Interrupting the video to beg, hoping to the GoAni heavens that you don't encounter a nonexistent controversy in the video itself_*
Doing this not only spoils what may happen next, but it also adds filler to a commentary that didn't need it. One example includes interrupting the video just to pray that fictional characters are included in the like/dislike spots of a rant or salute. I understand that it's wrong to see characters take up these slots but the only complaint to this shouldn't be "fictional characters don't have opinions". Instead, it should be "these fictional characters don't appear in this form of media", because it would've made more sense, for obvious reasons. Another example is when the "commentator" says to give valid reasons in a rant or salute. When they do this, it means that they've already watched the video before and know in advance that its reasons aren't valid at all.
      Example: th-cam.com/video/CkmREw8Z_bg/w-d-xo.html
      • *_Spoiling what the rant/salute does from the cliché "this rant/salute will suck" scene at the beginning of commentaries_*
Very similar to the previous problem but it could tie into this being the only reason why the commentary may be made. Sometimes, people make such a big deal that they make a commentary on a rant over things like fictional characters being in the pointless like/dislike spot of a rant or salute, even if the rant/salute does try to prove a point (although it is very rare to see this).
      Example: th-cam.com/video/aSYBN_PtX2o/w-d-xo.html
      • *_Including the "end of [subject]" segment or the GoAnimate logo in a rant/salute when it ends immediately after this is stated in a commentary_*
This is pointless as the commentary creator could've easily stated that the video was over or at least stated that there's nothing noteworthy beyond that point especially because a lot of the rants tend to go over their next rants or salutes that people shouldn't care about.
      • *_Including a time card to make you think that this would skip over the long segment but it instead goes back to this long segment and speeds it up instead of skipping over it_*
This makes the missed opportunity to skip over a segment bigger as the time card would at least show an indication that you're skipping over something.
      • *_Complaining over a rant using a nonsensical number or an endless group of zeroes_*
This is understandable but predictable in GoAnimate-styled rants and salutes; you should try to skip over them when it's necessary rather than leave it in unedited and especially complain about it.
      Example: th-cam.com/video/dLcPm2J-EYk/w-d-xo.html
      • *_Putting "forget/screw the title" as the title of the video_*
Not including a proper title especially by using similar words like these would make it harder for people to find your video. Not like it matters because doing so with these commentaries/approvals makes them harder to find, but it's still rather childish to do this. Don't forget the title, but do forget including unnecessary users to "help" (aka pad out) your commentary; dash, underscore, dash.
      Examples: th-cam.com/video/pmxS0aDsRFs/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/kn73zfBJ3Ik/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/BDY8ufLVysc/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/4AvQvJHMRH8/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/SYgbPPpr7WU/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/-jUrZlWMyt8/w-d-xo.html
      • *_The phrase "but you still suck"_*
This is usually tied with the commentary creator agreeing with something in the video, but it's very rare, and it's always, ALWAYS ruined by these four words. This opinion usually has nothing to do with the commentary itself, and even if you think the creator of the video does suck, there's no reason to state that. Putting something like "Credit goes to [user here] for the video even though I hate him/her/[pointless repeat of username]" is also unnecessary and falls under the scope of this cliché.
      • *_Those stupid "interruptions" featuring a badly green screened X, a random character and the words "stop right there"_*
"Stop right there" are the exact words that I'd say when it comes to including things like this in GA-styled commentaries and approvals. They once again cause unnecessary complaints and propagation and any instance of these are just a missed opportunity to skip over that part or at least explain without complaining and putting an X over the video itself. Unfortunately, Ess didn't pay attention to this, according to the thumbnail.
      • *_Using a cliché "free to use" clip over a "cookie-cutter" intro, usually because it's longer than this "cookie-cutter" intro when the creators could've just said the typical "cookie-cutter" line (and even that wouldn't have been the right choice as they could've skipped over it)_*
If you don't care about a "cookie-cutter" intro, then what's the use in complaining about it by saying exactly "Nobody gives a [insult] about your stupid cookie-cutter intro - now screw off"? And more importantly, if you don't care about this intro, why include a useless clip that's corny, jarring and obnoxious and is usually several times longer than the intro itself? You're just making a padded out "commentary" take even longer. It would be best just to skip over it rather than complaining about it with a cookie-cutter phrase, and there are some people out there who do care about the intros even if they are "cookie-cutter" so there's no use saying "nobody cares" when only you don't care, joke or not. (now DON'T screw off :P)
Example (please don't use this at all): th-cam.com/video/BrBRZWnDaAQ/w-d-xo.html
      • *_Putting "free for approval" or "no commentaries allowed" in the title (why?)_*
Doing that is a bad idea regardless of which element you put in the title. Encouraging someone to spread a childish video that could contain propaganda is never a good sign and you escalate the problem more than solve it. Putting "no commentaries allowed" in the title can get more people to make GA-styled commentaries on it, much like how putting "DO NOT HACK" in your name usually increases the chances of you getting hacked. So… don't do that.
Examples (from who else?): th-cam.com/video/dxduMH1gYFg/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/0pFaBoFnP5k/w-d-xo.html
      • *_Having the phrase "Defending [user's best friend] from [user's worst enemy]" as the title_*
Accusations of you being a supporter of a controversial person may be made against you if someone believes that you're defending them, especially if they're known to be a threat to society. Not to mention that this template is used when the commentary/approval creator can't think of a better title for their GA-styled commentary/approval.
      • *_Making the commentary/approval/response absurdly long (60+ minutes) over a trivial subject_*
Unsurprisingly, the stacked commentaries can result in them being really, really long for no good reason. So long, in fact, that they're either split up into parts, or they're several tens of minutes or even hours in length, usually with double+ commentaries that just take up one episode instead of putting them as multiple episodes in the same video. An example comes from Jordan, where he had made commentaries that are so long that it's not even feasible or practical to watch them in one sitting. For example, he's made one GA-styled commentary that's almost 6 hours in length, one that's almost 5, one that's 4.5 and uses a dead meme in the thumbnail, and even one that's 11 hours and 13 minutes in length, which is somehow longer than my OST video at 11 hours and 4 minutes.
And let's not forget... the infamous "ultimate" commentary that has several parts that are way too long (partially because it features 12 unnecessary users). It's so long that there's a pinned comment with the first part showing how long the entire commentary is, and it says... *_4 days, 7 hours, 12 minutes and 36 seconds._* You could possibly make a short, yet half-decent grounding video in GoAnimate in that time and you'd still have time to clean it up and upload it to TH-cam! In fact, you could probably 100% complete multiple games in that time, too! Of course, Jordan had since stopped making unreasonably long commentaries and went back to the basics, but there was no reason to make them long in the first place, especially because they could've just been ignored.
      Examples mentioned in order: th-cam.com/video/Tipnp8Lkejc/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/H0_9X1_dydo/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/x6KGgqKiqF8/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/QV986PtBOPo/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/play/PLXXT6reba9H7QvzR_HJl6G--SqpjeeFgq.html

Part 2 of the list (ran out of space in the previous reply):
      • *_Putting "outdated" or "disowned" in your commentary/approval, especially at the beginning of the title_*
I didn't know what this cliché meant when it was introduced to the GoAnimate community and I believed that it didn't make any sense. Apparently, it's just an excuse to keep the video in question up so that the user doesn't lose their views or support that they got on the video. Not to mention that even if the targeted user apologised for the incident that resulted in the commentary being made, putting "outdated" or especially "disowned" won't fix the issue because people can start accusations towards that user to carry on the spotlight of the problem. If the creators really didn't want to lose your views, then they could've unlisted or privated the video instead of doing things like this, and "disowned" is obviously the wrong term to use as it's meant to be used when a family member is no longer linked with them due to a bad relationship or other things that prevent that member from being one with the family.
      Examples: th-cam.com/video/ZlaohANezrk/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/Y_aauiFty6k/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/_W-E-DPsAgI/w-d-xo.html
      • *_Saying "forget/screw the outro" over the same trivial subject_*
Usually not a valid reason to skip it over the fact that you didn't like the thing you're "commentating" on, and it can be seen as childish. Some people may end up accidentally saying "intro" instead of "outro" when they're just about to end their video, which is likely caused because of the excessive amounts of instances from GA-styled commentary creators saying "forget/screw the intro" ad nauseam.
      • *_Rewinding a point of the commentary/approval during variants where you use a phone screen recorder and your voice_*
This pads out the "commentary" or "approval" and it causes the creator to possibly repeat what they've said for no good reason. Not to mention that if the viewers of these videos don't like specific parts of a rant, salute, commentary or approval (especially the use of the copyrighted clips as shown in my proper commentary), they'd have to know in advance to skip over them again, and they shouldn't have to do that.
      • *_Including Uno Reverse cards_*
They're used infrequently in the GoAnimate community, but they're still annoying for them to exist. Normally, they appear when a commentary creator can't be bothered to come up with a half-decent comeback to a childish insult to a commentary that they're making a commentary on. This can result in the next commentary layer complaining or laughing about the childish comeback.
      • *_Complaining about an upcoming cringy part, usually under the words "let the cringy part begin"_*
This falls under the pointless interruption problem that's stated in the commentary and is one of the most cringiest examples of such that didn't need to be. Even if you don't like cringy parts in videos that you don't like, if you've made a commentary out of it, you could've stopped yourself from doing so and just reported the offending video instead.
      • *_Disabling the comments because of one person causing (nonexistent) drama instead of simply blocking the person_*
Doing this can cause people to believe that you can't take criticism especially if you complain or even mention it in the description of the video that didn't need the comments disabled, even if it is stop drama, because chances are, it's rather petty and not worth bringing up to light. It's honestly quicker, smarter, and easier to just block the person and move on, rather than disable the comments on the video (and even exposing their name to get your fans to send hate to that person, even indirectly). Not to mention that that same person could try to escalate the problem on other videos; disabling the comments achieves nothing in reality. Treating criticism like it's drama also falls under the scope of "can't take criticism" and it shows that this is true. Don't be like Alex the TD Guy (aka Alex Kimble), who did the exact same thing countless times (especially with his dead meat videos) before his channel was deleted due to his allegations, while also making his typical phrase "consider yourself lucky that this is being kept up" age like blue milk.
Example (don't attack the person mentioned in the description): th-cam.com/video/_ge3aJfcaos/w-d-xo.html
      • *_Putting "Step Down (user)" in your name or handle_*
Ess, who appears in this video in the thumbnail and as a screenshot showing her nonexistent video, has a point on why this "Step Down (user)" trend had damaged the community. It started because of a popular GoAnimator who grounded the Andersons receiving controversy for things that I won't explain, alongside them making a meme of the trend itself where they went down an endless flight of stairs. Doing this shows that you want the people that you hate to delete their channel and/or get terminated permanently while also failing to realise that this is against the community guidelines. Things like that could result in a strike, or in worse case scenarios, account termination. It's very childish and completely unnecessary under any and all circumstances and I honestly wouldn't recommend doing this unless you want people to think of you differently, and trust me - you don't want this to happen. This doesn't have much impact on the GA-styled commentaries and approvals but this can show up in them proving how childish some people can be, and how their immaturity ends up being exposed by changing their handle to that, or to something like "@WhyDoWeNeedHandles" or "@TH-camOnlyCaresAboutMoney".

After watching this video, I absolutely agree with everything you said in this video, especially when using others videos without permission for commentary and when not letting one of them go of their past, despite being several years old. Other than that, I still believe that these commentaries are additional disguised reuploads made to escalate drama further. If they definitely wanted to create a commentary without further controversaries, they at least should a bit research and request permission from others before using these videos, in order for a fair and ethical timing.

Just watched the entire video and I completely agreed with you! These Goanimate-styled rants and commentaries are very repetitive, lazy, and just a simple way to come after creators even without proper research or just very biased in general. Causing harassment and taking down on someone is never a good idea especially when things get out of hand and then backfire on them...the commentary can't be a commentary if you not explaining it right or being factual and honest and just being hateful or biased about the topic, it not as informative and making your point clear, it just being messy and spreading drama around for what?? Just to get more views on their channel???...smh, it's quite sad to witness, Goanimators should just make original content like stories that they're passionate about instead of these childish and boring videos like that, this community would be a lot better and thrive without them especially the toxicity and the drama! This video is very impressive and I do like that you put a lot of research on it, you did an amazing job! 👍😁

coming back to this rq it’s funny how they say “fictional characters don’t have opinions” when some of the episodes of the shows they like are literally built off opinions
for example there’s a frasier episode called “the focus group” where the titular group is discussing frasier’s show and they all like it except for one particular person
and frasier becomes obsessed with trying to find out why the guy doesn’t like his show
the whole plot of that episode was based around his opinion on frasier’s show (and frasier as a person)
if fictional characters really didn’t have opinions that episode would literally be 1 minute

All they do is just recycle the same old commentaries rather than making their commentaries in a more specific way.
like who would someone in mind does that, does that even help the video getting some attention? no, the hell it would NOT help the video getting more views.

Damn, I am not that surprised that I never like Goanimate Vyond style stuff at all, tbh, it’s a good thing it needs to be end soon.

my content have been fixed by myself and that's why my humor is almost similar to Kaneedian (CanadianScout) from when i made return video and yes when I'm gonna make grounded videos I'm gonna make it more original and not making low-quality ass video (like OHOHOHOHOH YOU'RE GROUNDED GROUNDED FOR 20202020202020 YEARS, with goofy ahh poses that isn't the newest assets)

The Twitter/X community. That's what jumpstarted the hashtag trend to where people end up mooching off of that when it comes to promoting cancel culture online, even if the person/people affected is/are innocent and the situation had been created from a huge misunderstanding.
Some people may stay up all night just to make slanderous posts about people over some controversies linked to them without getting their side of the story/ies that exist.

@@arthurmartinsgoncalves6468, it's a funny acronym, meaning that it's the Nintendo GameCube. GCN can be parsed as "GameCube Nintendo", according to Nintendo themselves, but I could be wrong.
