I really love Fuwamoco matches and Zeta matches. Fuwamoco the quote “2 heads think better than 1” is wrong and with Zeta, She have a lot chances to win but her PONess was stronger
Hikaru no Go is a great anime. dont turn off because the theme of Go, you dont even have to understand Go to really enjoyed it, highly recommended for anyone who havent watch it yet.
I agree, just like don't miss on Sangatsu no lion because you don't understand shogi, really great anime with the best interpretation of highly functioning depression.
Indeed, Hikaru No Go really an interesting anime to watch. From the plot to character story and development. Even the song in Op and Ed Hikaru No Go is beautiful. The show probably seems odd, like they make the traditional game have this Yu-Gi-Oh or Crash Gear or Beyblade vibe but... that's unique. It's still fun and attractive especially during 2000s. That's how old anime deliver the story... that is to be unique.
Hikaru no go inspired me to introduce Go-game to friends when I was in elementary school, we even did a tournament set-up during the break time and that was 15 years ago...
First time I saw Holomems play Gomoku, I totally thought "Hikaru no Go" as well. Also, Nene totally pulled of such a clutch move on Zeta. Nene distracted with a crazy set up, forced Zeta to stop two lines of four, and then played the confusion card. I honestly was looking at Zeta's line of 3 thinking that Nene was one stone away from losing and bam, Nene wins. Nene made her husbandos proud!
Everyone that has played and finished Cellblock on Neopets back in the day knew that Nene's Diamond technique is the only option against the last boss.
In fairness gomoku does keep baiting me into thinking I'll get to see someone in hololive play go. Plays on the exact same board and everything. Would definitely be fun to see them try it out.
I've read the manga and watched the anime of hikaru no go, even if fuwamoco indeed watched the series, the show didn't really bother explaining how the game works or how to moves in a way its a great series but you can't learn from it you really have to watch and read a different guide for Go to learn how to play go,which is also makes this clip funny because they are playing gomoku instead of go 😂
Two heads are not better than one in this scenario. They focused on blocking too much that they could have won but Riona took that chance instead. 😂 And Zeta could have blocked Nenechi at their climax but was not observant enough even though she took a moment to analyze where to put next. 😂
Zeta vs Nene-chi: Never clarify when your opponent is confused.

I'm pretty sure it's one those 5:30am tv animes I watched as a kid. There was even one about chinese chess or something. 😅
Their skills are unmatched no literally nobody knows what they are doing not even them.
@@gorrgumbusenjoyer in order to confuse the enemy, you have to confuse yourself first 😂
Never understimate the power of anime
lol
ahhh FWMC had a win there but went to block... and misplaced nooo
@@JudyIsWIP this is basically the average experience of the entire tournament 😂
They actually have multiple ways to win, some even as clear as day. But they still didnt go for the win 😅
This is what happens when a stoppable force meets a movable object
Bau Bau vs Riona: Never interrupt your opponents when they bicker.

2:34 Lesson: Think about losing and you'll missed the win you're supposed to get
4th pieces from the bottom..
They didn't even realize 😂
Hikaru no go strats actually good.. they both almost win.. but the pon level is off the chart. 😂😂
lol zeta, seems like she thought it was played only diagonally or should not be placed close together, sasuga PON
2:37 there is line of 5 black at bottom left already..
but instead of victory FWMC just go misclick somewhere else - anime training arc demands it xD
Men Subaru with even just slightly longer hair really hits different
this tournament was very funny.
we got a good start in 2025.
Wait, wait, wait.
Since when Zeta's japanese been this good?
Last time i know, she only knew few phrases.
Thats really impressive.
She's practiced long ago before going to japan, she's already good enough to do small conversation
And now she's Jouzu enough to Yap in JP
She even took JLPT

Nenechi so energic, never change our Wife~
They could have won there...
This is like when Hikaru Shindou vs Kaga on the Go Festival match 😂

good god, i always thought riona was zeta. they're too similar.
Fwmc has a chance to win against riona in the mid bottom but riona gets it first
Behold,i got the mentor of fujiwara sai,i will not lose in gomoku😂
What is this cat on about 😭
although i never watch hikaru no go but i like the 1st opening
so far got any holomem sing that opening?
Flare sang that song 3 years ago.
3rd OP is my jam 🙌
@@krnxaja Yeah, it's quite good.
And that, was Pekora's Art of Crimes Against Humanity.
Title is a bit inaccurate
Did Zeta win before her 5th turn vs Nene?
Zeta lpst against everyone, and won againat Sakamata by luck. Her Switch cannot detect Sakamata, so the winner (loser) had to be chosen by Roulette.
