Having knocked the jack out of bounds the end is dead and has to be replayed. You can't just put the jack back where you think it was! Or do you play by diferent rules in America?
I just read your comment from 10 days ago. Yes, we treat an out of bounds jack differently. Our Conditions of Play state that there are no dead ends. If the jack is move out of bounds it is placed on the two meter mark. Thank you for your comment, Gary
