yeah i dont know about this, when I play gun run if I stayed still for a half a second I was dead and being able to heal on the roof, fuck outta here, no chance of that happening in any of the matches I was in. I dont know what server this is but this is the slowest pace and bots for players, the games I played where pure chaos.
I really like the mode, but I wish it was solos. I like the way they made it a team game for sure (especially the leap frog idea), but gun game is usually a solo type of mode and it would be nice to get a solo mode in apex
This is the only “Gun Run” style of mode that I can’t consistently win, all because it’s team based. I do just fine with fiesta or actually gun game styles when it comes to other shooters like Halo or Splitgate, but because it’s team based it’s been difficult playing catch-up with the other teams as they’re often running as a squad and I’m not always fortunate with having good teammates. Had a scenario like this where my team mates both ended with 1 kill each.
I wish we had options instead of being forced in 3s. Some people like yourself would prefer it to be solos whereas I would like it to be trios so I can play with my friends. This would satisfy everyone

You know why it feels better? Because your performance counts more due to smaller teams. I've been saying for a while that Apex solo was the best mode they had, but according to Respawn they saw many people permanently leave when it got introduced which is why they haven't tried it since. The main reasoning behind it is that players overestimate their abilities and often get carried, which leads to wins/feel good moments. Similarly when they lose they can blame their teammates (as I Master player I see this a lot, gold/plat players calling me bad when they die) instead of themselves. In solos their performance is just based on their skill, which often is an inconvenient truth for most.
I think Control needs another zone. 4 zones would balance it out. Most players always go for Zone B and ignore the other zones whenever I play Control.
I hate being locked into weapons I'm trash with while being beamed by people who can actually aim haha. And honestly I just hate how every match by the end you have to HUNT people because everyone left the match already. Or are too busy camping because they also have a weapon they cant use worth shit

I just started strictly using mnk this year and have noticed improvement but 3030, havoc, and devotion i cant hit the broad side of a barn, and that's all I seem to be getting in this new mode. I get stuck on a weapon as my whole team just carries me. I hate it
That one guy in the second match was so wholesome haha. And I don't blame him, this mode is BS. It's basically just KS Simulator 2022... I was so glad when I finally got all 3/4 badges

My favorite part is where 90% of the people he fought were either 1 shot or not looking at him & the ones where he’s climbing up on people but apparently NOBODY can hear him climbing up. I Especially love the parts where 90% of the 1 v 1’s he took the opponents aim was non existent lololol especially love when the opponents keep challenging him even tho they are literally 1 shot lmao like he is seriously playing against 5year olds
Gun run feels better coz the team can’t drag you down. The amount of times I had a bad team on control which lost us the game, or people leaving was a nightmare. Even as a solo on gun run I can win a game
This mode is really good but I can't not notice how funny this frame at 3:17 is that sums up the Gun Run experience, Timmy is behind his own teammate in weapons when he dealt 12x more damage
Love how he can shoot at someone 5 times in a row & they won’t react to being shot at. They won’t run or use abilities to get away like Timmy himself does when being shot at, they just kind of stand there getting shot lol
I'm glad we can still switch characters in this one mid match like on control. Load in, realize none of the enemies are caustic. Die and switch to caustic lol. Watson set up good at the streamer building? Run in and see where everything is, try to kill em, probably die and switch to Maggie and break everything through the wall. 😂

Nope. Unless you bring a 3 stack or are TImmy level it just feels sad. My experience was groups of 3 camping tight on roofs like they're playing in ALGS winning the game while solo teams have under 10 points.
I mean if you're solo I assume you're a solid player, and most the teams even 3 stacking on roofs aren't that great. Don't think of it as a winning game mode, just practice your aim and fight ability.
Whenever a team is camping in that building I play the edges and hunt the players before the roof team can get to them. Running around the train station and surrounding buildings trumps playing the streamer building imo. You can counter it by just not feeding into the camping team and stealing all their kills 🤙🏻
They should add assists or a squad take downs are half a point. So that on a full point you can move on to the next gun. Or have some kind of token to skip a gun but you have to return to it as your last weapon. Also implement some kind of team mechanism.
They should just add gamemodes like tdm ffa or gun game permanently apex got the best conditions to become a successful multiplayer game like cod: a huge player base good and balanced weapons good maps and unique legends they should turn apex in titanfall 3 or do it like cod. They have a payware multiplayer and a free warzone. It’s the same like warzone it’s fun but kinda gets boring overtime in the end we all want to fight. People don’t hot drop all the time for no reason but how cool would it be to have the fade building as a Tdm or ffa map. The gun game mode just showed me that apex is more then a br game.
I like this mode a lot more. the only thing I think needs changing is the melee mechanic. Control had lockout to stall progress and melee in gun run is supposed to do the same. Melee is so inconsistent that it's almost pointless to try. either increase melee AA or damage
Loooting is not the point of a gun game mode. Get kills to upgrade to the next gun with infinite ammo. Loba is useful to get around places and escape when needed to

It's nice, refreshing even, it means if I get stuck on a gun, my team still has a chance and I'll jump ahead in guns when I do get a kill, I've won rounds with like 6 kills compared to my teammates with 10-12, and been able to get the knife kill But I am hoping they don't release the knife :L I just don't think we need a new weapon at the moment, it's stronger than a kraber, yes, it's also more skill based, it'd be fun to have but I don't see the point in adding it to the pool. It'll be complained about in ranked, they'll never get the balance right, I genuinely think there are actual issues that need addressing before we release new legends and weapons. Still getting solo dropped in trios, matchmaking is awful. Silver 2 and I still get bronze/unranked 3 on my team, don't understand how. Needs work for sure, I like a challenge but it's just no fun going against gold 2s in a silver lobby filled with bronze/unranked 😴
I loveeeee this mode bc no matter how good you are, unless you have an organized team, you can't run the lobby. This dude always fries in other game modes. It's refreshing to see a mode where everybody dies at some point

I hate being that guy, but your best bet is to practice every gun. Learn the guns like Havoc and R99, and the others will come to you soon as well
