*In regards to Pesach, Rabbi, is one only permitted to eat flatbread during pesach? And nothing else? During the exodus, the jews did not have time to "prepare any victuals" but "had their dough, and kneading troughs on their backs". If they had no time to prepare anything else that means they only had their non leavened dough of which they later baked. It would appear that for the 7 days, one should only consume the flatbread with addition to water and nothing else as they had no other victuals and we read they were in want of food in the wilderness of Sin and Hashem sent forth the quails and manna then. But until that point they only ate their unleavened flatbread. Hashem through Moshi tells us to eat Unleavened bread in all our dwellings for 7 days. (Exodus 12:18)Why should we not adhear to this in modern times if our dear brothers and sisters of the Exodus had to endure? Thank you for your time Rabbi.*
