While I liked watching such videos during my youth, I seem to be much more demanding today. The emotions around the brands are not so appealing to me anymore but I am much more interested in the data and this exactly data what is missing from A to Z not only in this video. It would be really great, if video makers could provide detailed information about field conditions and performance indicators in future. Let us not be lead by brand emotions as this might cost us money.
It‘s a big Problem in some countries That there are no Workshops That can repair Man and Mercedes Engines. It‘s the Same thing in the USA an canada. You Need to Use CAT engines otherwise Nobody would buy the claas harvesters because Every workshop have spareparts for cat and know exactly how to repair it
I wonder if the John Deere X9 1100 wouldn’t spank a Class 8900? I heard from a Guy that works for John Deere that they have all the tooling ready for a X9 1200 & 1300! I hear very good reports from the X9 that it’s living up to the hype and farmers say it’s well worth the money!
Living up to the hype? Is that why Deere dealers aren't ordering them like hot cakes? My local deere dealer wants nothing to do with a X combine and the ones that did barely got any hours on them last year due to constant breakdowns. Pretty bad when even the most diehard of koolaid drinkers won't say anything good about them. The X combine was supposed to be built to compete with the 700 series Lexion not the new 7000/8000 series. Both Claas and Fendt one upped the X before the public even knew about it.
@@Zero01k Well that maybe in your area but around here our Deere dealer sold as many X9 combines as they could get there hands on! I believe they sold around 15 of them. Hearing very good reports from the Deere dealership and farmers are really loving them saying it’s well worth the money! There will be a ton of them sold next year for sure! The capacity of the X9 is amazing! It’s OK there always has to be a negative person in every post!
@@rileyburka be careful with just comparing technical parameters. Especially on combines it matters a lot how they are put together. The very one and only way to truly compare the performance of each combine is to put them side by side into the field, apply the same parameters like max. permissable losses, grain quality, stubble height, chopping quality etc. and then to measure t/h.
Its a class 10 combine, Fendt Ideal 10, JD X9 1100 and the Claas 8900 are the only three class 10 combines. Width of the header is not a factor, you could swath a 100' into one windrow and pick it up with a 16' pickup header... Its HP, grain tank capacity and bu per/hr etc... that these company's follow for ratings. Its a class 10...

@@Speedy_exc300 would agree, MAN is a leader, especially in Marine, but for AG in the N Americas a C18 CAT would be a more practical option...

This is a MAN engine. I don't think Claas uses Perkins engines in Denmark, where this is from.
